It’s no surprise that The Young and the Restless will be returning since it was renewed for three seasons (through 2020) back in June 2017. The series will be entering its 47th season. Season 46 is averaging a 0.66 rating in the female 18-49 demographic with 4.23 million viewers. That’s down about 3% when compared to season 45 and Young and the Restless remains the highest-rated soap on network TV.
The Bold and the Beautiful will also be returning for 2019-20 and that will be the soap’s 33rd season. Season 32 is averaging a 0.55 rating in the 18-49 female demo with 3.36 million viewers. That’s down by about 4% when compared to season 31.

The #1 daytime drama for over 32 consecutive years, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS has been a mainstay of CBS Daytime for almost 47 years and is averaging 4.60 million viewers so far this season. During the coming season, there will be many notable anniversaries. Among them, Eric Braeden will celebrate 40 years on the show, Peter Bergman 30 years, Joshua Morrow and Sharon Case 25 years, and Bryton James 15 years. The series is broadcast weekdays (12:30-1:30 PM, ET/11:30 AM-12:30 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network and is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company in association with Sony Pictures Television. Anthony Morina is the show’s executive producer. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS recently received 20 Daytime Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, which recently celebrated its 32nd anniversary, is averaging 3.61 million viewers. THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, which is recognized globally as “the most-watched daytime drama in the world” is a Bell-Phillip Television production, broadcast weekdays (1:30-2:00 PM, ET/12:30-1:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network. Bradley P. Bell serves as executive producer and head writer. THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL is currently nominated for 12 Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series.

The writers drag the story lines out way, way too long. They should follow the Young and the Restless format and KEEP THINGS MOVING!! The Beth ordeal lasted 6 or 9 months. Absolitely ridiculous!!!!
Watch both soaps and have done so since they began. So disappointed that B &B only airs for half an hour because commercials eat up most of the story. We need to see more each day.
I been watching both the Young over 40 years and Restless and the Bold and the Beautiful from first day it aired. Please for the last couple years the Young and Restless got bad I do not know what writers were doing. Not the same as once was. Sadly some of actors have died or left show. Lately it gotten better with returned of the actors that left. The Bold and Beautiful has gotten a little boring but hopefully it gets better. Gone to a dark place. Love B&B I tape it because at work and daughter myself and grand daughter watch every night. The Hope and Liam story was great but please move on. Enough already! But love every one. Can’t wait to see what the next story will be.
I watch and love the young and restless and also the bold and the beautiful!! I hate talk shows like the view. Pleas don’t take them away I really don’t watch tv except mostly during the day. Not a lot I like.
Have watched Bold & Beautiful for years but the story line is dragging in the last few months.

IHAVE WATCHED THESE 2 SOAPS FOR AT LEAST 25 YEARS. MY FAVORITEBIS YOUNG & RESTLESS. I USE TO LIKE B &B AS MUCH. I KNOW BY HEART WHAT WILL HAPPEN OVER & OVER WITH BROOK AND LIAM AND ETC. TIME FOR A NEW STORY ON SOMEONE ELSE TIRED OF THE CIRCLE.

Let Hope and Liam have there baby. Thomas is lower then life, he needs to go. It is time you get a new story line, This one with Hope and Thomas has to end.
I LOVE The Bold and the Beautiful! It’s one of the BEST on daytime television! There are only 3 remaining soaps and I watch them all. I am a fanatic about tapping this show on a daily basis and when it is interrupted I’m totally mad because I missed an episode. It’s story line is truly captivating right now. Please keep it on air forever!

Love the Bold & The Beautiful and have watched since the soap started in 1987. However, I am getting bored with how long it’s taking to reveal that Hope’s baby is alive. I feel like the same rehashing has gone on for months and I’m finding that I’m wanting to fast forward through it.
