It was a poor start for Zero Hour. Year-to-year, compared to an episode of Wipeout, ABC was down by 7% in the demo (vs a 1.5 rating) but was up by 25% in viewership (vs 5.12 million).
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Zero Hour TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
This is a fabulous show….so creative and exciting…using a little bit of history and stretching it a bit…but I really enjoyed it and hope that it will be renewed or brought back!!!
Bring Zero Hour back!!! Great entertainment. Far, far better than mindless reality shows.
I agree we need to keep shows like this I don’t watch any of the “reality” shows. TV is my escape from the Bull S***. Come on ABC.
This show was interesting. I was looking forward to an alternative to brainless “REALITY” shows that I can see in person downtown!
i am so shocked that zero hour was cancelled. i thought it was one the best shows on tv ever. it was original, had intrigue, mysteries, great stories and acting. i found each episode exciting and original. i waited for it each week. instead we get that inane show ‘splash’ to take it’s place. what an insult.stupid shows always win over excellent ones. at least they could show the episodes already filmed so we can have some kind of closing. emily owens, md also cancelled. big mistake. get rid of some other bad shows instead. intelligence on tv has been… Read more »
Can’t understand why they cancelled it. It was a nicely filmed and thought provoking. They put crap on like Splash, which is unwatchable, and don’t give a well written program like Zero Hour some time to gain an audience. It’ s probably just me, but I haven’t the foggiest notion as to why anyone would want to watch some TV personality do a belly flop. I really miss the days before reality shows when we had a large choice of well written programs to watch. ABC has made a mistake and should reconsider bringing it back.
you are so right about zero hour, and that ridiculous show ‘splash’. who cares!
It was so good. What are people thinking. Maybe it was the fault of the network for not promoting it better. Once you watched it you were hooked.
i absolutely agree w/you!
Great show
Cmon ABC don’t dump It!!
I can’t believe this was cancelled. You are idiots! You didn’t give people a chance to even know it was out there. Everyone of my friends who watched it, including my self thought it was great and we couldn’t wait for the next episode to see what happened next. It seems a lot of good shows have been canceled to quickly. Not happy!!!!
i loved zero hour i cant believe that they cancelled it . im sick of those reality shows
and wife swap. a lot of the shows that i loved watching they all have been cancelled
666 park ave, missing etc. this stinks bring them back
Yea I thought it was a really good show!! I hope they at least put the 1st season on DVD, does anybody know if that’s going to happen
I am getting ever closer to giving up on ABC. This is the second show this season I have gotten very interested in, hyped it to friends of mine who also got interested, and the network has canceled the show. Zero Hour had a great plot, accessible and believable characters, and enough action to keep the audience attention without them getting totally lost. Did it ever occur to the network that the reason the ratings were less then stellar is that the marketing leading up to the launch was not well done? I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. At this… Read more »
I caught one of the episodes, the last aired. It was so badly avertized. Why didn’t the
Network blast the mobiles with a bunch of emails, texts, or tweets.
There are low cost alternatives to announce and get buzz about a show, including talk shows. A pitty. We are in the 22nd century, yet ABC is still operating as if the most advanced way to get the mexsage out about a great show like — Zero Hour — is via a FAX
ABC stumbles on a great show, and once again drops the ball.
Pathetic.
You guys are idiots, give the show a chance. Bring out a show with a real plot and then cancel after 3 episodes!! I am sick of trash tv and reality tv, this was a fun show and I was just getting my friends in to watching it. And now….. Bam!@
I loved Zero Hour. My husband really got into it & would love to continue watching.
So tired watching reality TV….. This was a great show! Bring it back!!!!
