There will be a fresh new season of Fresh Off the Boat. According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC has renewed the family comedy for a third season.
Based on the memoir by chef Eddie Huang, Fresh Off the Boat follows a family who move from Washington D.C. to Orlando and open a cowboy-themed restaurant. The series stars Randall Park, Constance Wu, Hudson Yang, Forrest Wheeler, Ian Chen, Lucille Soong, and Chelsey Crisp.
Though the season two ratings for Fresh Off the Boat have declined since season one, the show is still doing okay. So far, the second season is averaging a 1.44 rating in the 18-49 demo and around 4.43 million viewers per episode.
ABC has also renewed: America’s Funniest Home Videos, The Bachelor, Black-ish, Dancing with the Stars, The Goldbergs, Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, The Middle, Modern Family, Once Upon a Time, Scandal, Shark Tank, and Quantico.
What do you think? Do you watch Fresh Off the Boat? Are you glad it’s been renewed for another season.
Yes renew Fresh Off the Boat!!!
Maybe if the head writer of the show would actually reference the things detailed in the book it’s based on, it could stand out as bold television rather than white-washed “family” sitcom.
yes, another show that will go below a 1.0. proving that TV is not worth watching
We love Fresh Off the Boat!
I can’t believe ABC would keep this crap but cancel Marvels Agent Carter. Just goes to show stupidity at its best.
