It seems the Alphabet Network has an appetite for fun and games. The Toy Box TV show has been renewed for season two on ABC. Last night on Twitter, the network’s publicity arm confirmed the second season is already in production.
The Toy Box is an ABC toy design competition, hosted by Eric Stonestreet. Toy designers present their concepts to mentors including Dylan Lauren, Jim Silver, and Jen Tan. If they approve the concept, the designers advance to the real test, kid judges Sophia Grace Brownlee, Aalyrah Caldwell, Toby Grey, and Noah Ritter. They will decide which toys will progress to the finals. The winning toy will be sold exclusively at Toys ”R” Us.

What do you think? Did you watch the first season of The Toy Box on ABC? Did you expect it to be cancelled or renewed for season two?
love the toybox… looking forward to seaon two.
I LOVED THE TOYBOX.. AND AM GLAD TO KNOW SEASON TWO IS ON ITS WAY……
Only watched a few minutes of the first show… just awful and what a waste for talented Mr. Stonestreet…. he could do a lot better. Won’t bother to watch.
I watched season 1. What a bore! I will not be watching season 2. The kids were the worst part. I doubt that they really had the final say on which toy won.
