Zero Hour: Cancelled ABC Show Still Airing — Just Not Here

Zero Hour cancelled episodesThough ABC has cancelled and pulled Zero Hour off the schedule, it looks like viewers north of the border will get a chance to see the remaining episodes.

GlobalTV, which airs the Anthony Edwards show in Canada, still has Zero Hour on their schedule, at least for the next two weeks. The broadcaster runs Zero Hour at 8pm on Thursdays, just like ABC did.

Global makes aired episodes available online but are only available to those with Canada IP addresses.

There’s still no word on when or if ABC will get around to airing the remaining 10 episodes of Zero Hour. A summer run is a possibility but the show’s ratings were so poor that the network could likely garner better ratings from reruns.

On the positive side, ABC hasn’t removed the show from their website so there’s a chance the episodes could also be released there.

What do you think? Do you think Zero Hour will continue airing in Canada? Do you think ABC will air them eventually?

UPDATE: GlobalTV has now pulled Zero Hour as well. Both ABC and GlobalTV only aired three episodes.

The end of my interest came when the German Officer turns out to be Waffen SS. No one ever joined that unit, became an officer unless they were committed to Hitler’s “Master Race”, they swore off religion, and accepted readily the order to kill Jews. It would have been more believable if the officer was army, navy, or airforce; but not SS.

I can’t believe ABC is taking Zero Hour off the air after only 3 episodes! I sure hope someone else picks it up because it was a great show. At least play out the season and give it a chance!

Zero Hour has a very fresh & compelling message…a new “wrinkle” on this somewhat “over-worked & worn out” Nazi period of world history! It is unfolding so beautifully with the idea of good triumphing over evil….as a finality. Bravo!

This is why i watch cable .You just get interested in a show and its pulled. It does not make sense to me all the time and money that is put into a show and they only give it 3 episodes before they decide to pull it?Who ever is in charge at ABC needs to think before they act.It is no wonder more and more people are turning to cable network shows at least they get a full season in before they decide to pull them. The thing is this isnt the first time this has happened. Its very disapointing and i for one will be watching more cable !!

really disappointed that they are cancelling the show. we just found it and they did not even give it a chance to catch on. They were to fast with their judgment. We should be able to voice our opinion before a network cancels a show.

I am in Canada, and I just wrote GlobalTV to thank them – and to ask they play the full series in it’s entirety. It was partially filmed here, so that may have something to do with it. It’s a great show, but tried in a very bad time slot – perhaps it would have been better as a summer series event like CBS is doing with “Under The Dome”? I plan to buy the DVD for sure. ABC is very bad for axing shows without trying to move them – I am still shocked they cancelled “666 Park Avenue”.

J.P. I should have followed your moves and learned from all the other conspiracy theories that hit to close to home — and just not get attached too! I loved Zero Hour and hate they are removing it!! But it is typical — guess this is why the numbers are dropping at who watches TV and the age groups…it is just not worth getting attached to anything because either it does not hit the right age group (teenagers and up) and the older group gets knocked off the map. Thank you again for giving me another reason to not need a TV in my house!! UGH!

I’m really disappointed to hear that Zero Hour is being cancelled. I find that show keeps me at the edge of my seat, and I’m dying to know what happens next. It’s seems so much more clever than other conspiracy shows or movies, it’s a great change. Please, don’t cancel the show. We need good shows like this one. I’m so sick of zombies and vampires.

I tried to follow Zero Hour, but it just could not hold my interest. Anthony Edwards is a very good actor. I enjoyed him very much in the ER series. ABC made a huge mistake taking 666 Park Avenue off. That show was great. It had a plot to it that you could follow and look forward to each week. ABC lacks brains where entertainment means something. Do not put just garbage on to take up a time slot such as The Bachelor. that show is so phony. As far as Zero Hour we should be able to see the remaining shows and not just Canada.

I was so mad when I found out ABC cancelled Zero Hour. I am a huge fan and so disappointed in the network. They keep canceling shows before they have a chance to get a fan base and when the story gets going, they pull it. They could at least let it run through the first season since 14 episodes have been recorded anyway. Why waste that? Advertise the show more, give it a chance. 3 aired shows hardly counts. The fans should be able to vote online or everyone who watches the show be counted as ‘viewers’ not the elete selected sample group. Thats so not fair. This was also another show my husband and I enjoyed together. It was not dark like some people claim. “The Following” and “The Cult” are dark and disturbing shows. Zero Hour is different & we need something different to choose from. Please bring it back and give it another chance.

“Traveler” taught me not to invest time in a conspiracy show where we won’t get to see it resolved.
