James Franco is going back in time. Back in time to 11/22/63, both the date of JFK’s assassination and the title of Hulu’s upcoming limited series. Today, Entertainment Weekly released the first photo of the series.
Based on Stephen King’s 2011 novel, the story follows a divorced English teacher (James Franco) who discovers a time portal in a diner. He uses his newfound time travel powers to try and prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
The mini-series is being co-produced by Stephen King, J.J. Abram’s company Bad Robot, Bryan Burk, and Parenthood producer Bridget Carpenter.
The series will premiere on Hulu on February 15, 2016.
