How big can this extended family grow in the first season of the Almost Family TV show on FOX? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Almost Family is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of Almost Family here. *Status update below.
A FOX drama series, the Almost Family TV show stars Brittany Snow, Tim Hutton, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Emily Osment, Mo McRae, Mustafa Elzein, and Victoria Cartagena. Based on the Australian drama series Sisters, this show explores what it means to be a family and the potential emotional complications that new generations of In vitro fertilization (IVF) children can face. In the series, Julia Bechley (Snow) is an adult only child who has her world turned upside down. She learns that her father, Doctor Leon Benchley (Hutton), a pioneer in fertility, secretly used his own sperm to father over a hundred children. While still reeling from this revelation, Julia discovers that she has two new half-sisters — her former best friend, Edie Palmer (Echikunwoke), and ex-Olympic athlete Roxy Doyle (Osment). As the three daughters begin to reconcile their new reality, Julia starts life without having her dad by her side, Edie comes to grips with her sexuality, and Roxy faces adulthood out of the spotlight. The trio attempt to bond as unconventional sisters while dealing with new siblings as part of a rapidly expanding and very untraditional extended family.

3/4/20 update: Almost Family has been cancelled, so there will not be a second season.
I love this show. The problem is they never let a show stay on long enough to get a true rating. I will be disappointed if it is cancelled, but not surprised. I hate when they do this.
I hope Almost Family gets renewed. It’s a feel-good show. We need more shows like this. So many shows are dark and leave my heart aching when I watch them. But this, this makes me smile. It makes me happy. It’s priceless.
Love this show. I hope that they bring it back. Really relates to real life issues.

Absolutly Love this show especially because it resolves on some real life situations, Fox will make a huge mistake if “ALMOST Family” is cancelled and if it does im through watching fox

Great show! I am an avid tv watcher dvr non stop. I would have never watched this except i caught a commercial showing Tim Hutton so i was intrigued and the show is fabulous…beats Greys anatomy and that show has been my favorite many years..there should have been more promotions regarding this show…please renew it

I absolutely love this show, and I knew I would because I love the cast. The storylines can go anywhere seeing as how we are always discovering new Beckley “babies,” and I hope FOX realizes this show has quite a bit of direction it can spin off from. Because of that, I feel it needs a second season to get more storylines further developed and shouldn’t be cancelled before it has a chance to grow.

I feel like the show Almost Family should not be canceled I think it should be renewed for a second season it start off slow but then you get it and I would like to see where it go from here I need a second season
