Marcia Clark is back on the small screen. Deadline reports NBC has picked up a new series based on the former OJ Simpson prosecutor’s novel, Blood Defense.
Clark has come back into the spotlight since Sarah Paulson played her in the FX series American Crime Story: The People vs. OJ Simpson.
Published in 2016, Blood Defense ” centers on Samantha Brinkman, a relentless criminal defense attorney in Los Angeles whose world is turned upside down when she is hired to defend a police detective in a high-profile homicide, thrusting her into the public spotlight and exposing dark secrets from her past.”
Clark will co-write the series alongside producers Elizabeth Craft and Sara Fain.
