How will Frank handle the changes in his family and force in the 11th season of the Blue Bloods TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Blue Bloods is cancelled or renewed for season 12. A CBS police family drama, Blue Bloods stars Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez, Vanessa Ray, and Sami Gayle with Whoopi Goldberg, Will Hochman, Eric B., Abigail Hawk, Gregory Jbara, Robert Clohessy, Steven Schirripa, Andrew Terraciano, and Lauren Patten in recurring roles. The show revolves around the Reagans, a multi-generational family of New York City cops that’s dedicated to law enforcement. Patriarch Frank Reagan (Selleck) is the New York Police Commissioner and runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family. His unapologetically bold father, Henry (Cariou), previously served a stint as Chief. A source of pride and concern for Frank is his eldest son, Danny (Wahlberg), a seasoned detective, family man, and Iraq War vet. Danny sometimes uses dubious tactics to solve cases with his partner, Detective Maria Baez (Ramirez). Frank’s daughter, Erin (Moynahan), is a New York Assistant District Attorney who is also a single parent to her daughter Nicky (Gayle). Frank’s youngest is Jamie (Estes), a Harvard Law graduate and the family’s “golden boy.” He passed on a lucrative future in law and follows in the family footsteps as a cop. Eddie Janko (Ray) is Jamie’s wife and a fellow officer.

Blue Bloods is by far one of the few realistic cop series on the air all these years. Perfectly cast, each member of this show perfects their role, draws you in to the point that you feel their fears, their frustrations, their love of the job and especially the love they have for one another. Tom Selleck is OUTSTANDING, as he’s always been. He is, The Commish! And though some of us may experience the always wonderful family dinner scenes, many of us would love to have the very same. This is the only show that I watch on a regular national broadcasting station. I love the characters, the storyline and the writing and actors are excellent.
STILL, Season 11, Episode 1 shows why this is the BEST tv series out there!!! ♥️♥️ Tom Selleck is still #1!!! ♥️♥️

Please please “DO NOT “ have the characters Danny and Baez be a future romantic couple!!! Please may Danny be assigned a new partner ( maybe the Medium lady) that has visited the show as his romantic future partner. We also noticed that Tom Selleck as the Commissioner appeared tired and not interested in his part. Love this show and Danny (Donny Warburg) is an exceptional actor and definitely our favourite.
Love, love this show! All the characters are terrific and the story lines are always current. My favorite are the Sunday family dinner scene.

John – Watching since S1E1. Outstanding in representing what cops really face. Some drama is intense but underlying is the truth that police are people held to a higher standard while trying to maintain a perfect attitude and posture. Good variety of scenarios in each episode sharing the family member’s trials and joys with a healthy moral compass to succeed. Strong story lines that make you think and enjoy at the same time.
