TV show description:
This drama is about a multi-generational family who are dedicated to New York City law enforcement.
New York City’s Police Commissioner, Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck), is the head of both the police force and the Reagan family. He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics. Those same politics plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry (Len Cariou), during his stint as Chief.
A widowed father of three boys and a girl, Frank’s essentially a blue-collar guy who’s worked his way up through the ranks. It hasn’t been an easy journey, particularly because he lost his eldest son in the line of duty.
Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) is the oldest surviving Reagan son and a seasoned detective. He’s married, the father of two kids, and a hot-tempered Iraqi War vet who occasionally uses dubious tactics to solve cases.
The sole woman in the Reagan family is Erin Reagan Boyle (Bridget Moynahan). She’s a New York Assistant District Attorney and a newly single parent of a teenage daughter. She also serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father. It was her mother’s wish that she and her younger brother stay in law enforcement but off the police force. She and Danny have each other’s backs but know how to push each other’s buttons too.
Jamie (Will Estes) is the youngest Reagan, fresh out of Harvard Law and the family’s “golden boy.” Unable to deny the family tradition, Jamie decided to give up a lucrative future in law and is now a rookie cop, much to the chagrin of his fiancee. Things become extra complicated when he’s asked to become part of a clandestine police investigation that the rest of the family knows nothing about — something that could impact the family’s legacy forever.

What do you think? Do you like the Blue Bloods TV show? Do you think it should be ending or renewed for a 17th season on CBS?
Please don’t cancel Blue Bloods. Tom Selleck is a marvelous actor but the rest of the cast matches his talent. It’s one of very few shows on network tv anymore that isn’t offensive with either language or sexuality. One of only a few shows my 82 yr old mother will watch.
[…] Busfield (thirtysomething) is coming to Blue Bloods on CBS. He’ll be playing a likeable and wealthy man who’s accused by his neurotic stepdaughter […]
Blue Bloods is my favorite show Please do not cancel it Love the cast and the story lines.
Every Friday here I look forward to this program and that says a lot since I don’t watch much TV. The characters and plots are much more captivating than Tom S.’s other show, “Jessy Stone”. I either fall asleep or flip the channel to another station. So I am hoping the show isn’t canceled. Or maybe we will all be lucky and it will have a 10 year run like “Jag”. When are last year’s episodes coming out on DVD?
Please do not cancel this show – it has a great cast (especially Tom Selleck) and we anxiously await it each week!
Gotta tell you I love this show….Awesome, Awesome, Awesome, can’t wait for it to start again……
Please do not cancel this show, it’s a true-life family show and the actors are awesome! Love this show, very down to earth 🙂

An adult series with a feeling of truth. It would be a shame to lose it.
