TV show description:
This drama is about a multi-generational family who are dedicated to New York City law enforcement.
New York City’s Police Commissioner, Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck), is the head of both the police force and the Reagan family. He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics. Those same politics plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry (Len Cariou), during his stint as Chief.
A widowed father of three boys and a girl, Frank’s essentially a blue-collar guy who’s worked his way up through the ranks. It hasn’t been an easy journey, particularly because he lost his eldest son in the line of duty.
Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) is the oldest surviving Reagan son and a seasoned detective. He’s married, the father of two kids, and a hot-tempered Iraqi War vet who occasionally uses dubious tactics to solve cases.
The sole woman in the Reagan family is Erin Reagan Boyle (Bridget Moynahan). She’s a New York Assistant District Attorney and a newly single parent of a teenage daughter. She also serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father. It was her mother’s wish that she and her younger brother stay in law enforcement but off the police force. She and Danny have each other’s backs but know how to push each other’s buttons too.
Jamie (Will Estes) is the youngest Reagan, fresh out of Harvard Law and the family’s “golden boy.” Unable to deny the family tradition, Jamie decided to give up a lucrative future in law and is now a rookie cop, much to the chagrin of his fiancee. Things become extra complicated when he’s asked to become part of a clandestine police investigation that the rest of the family knows nothing about — something that could impact the family’s legacy forever.

What do you think? Do you like the Blue Bloods TV show? Do you think it should be ending or renewed for a 17th season on CBS?
Love it, continue Blue Blood!
Continue blue bloods
Please do not cancel Blue Blood. Let it continue with the rest of the family.
Please do not cancel this beloved show. It’s too goo a show to cancel.
I would love to tell u I’m 47 and me and my wife love the show i
Blue Bloods has so much potential with the Reagan family, but the writers don’t take advantage of what they have to work with every week. The “Joe” storyline has failed to be developed; Jack’s and Erin’s story keeps getting teased, but then dropped. For this great show, fresh writers are needed.
Hallelujah my hope and prayers were answered. Thank you for season 14.
Please don’t get rid of Blue Bloods. I look forward to this show weekly–I LOVE the family dynamic!
What happened to Jamko the dog? He just sort of disappeared after a couple of episodes. I think he could have been incorporated into the department and quite an asset.
Would like to see Blue Bloods remain on for the summer on ION it help’s some of us in the afternoons.
I know there is a cult following to this show. But it’s time has come to bring it to an end. It’ become tired, staid and boring.
Please keep “Blue Bloods” on the air. Like the Reagans, the Dawsons are a three-generation law enforcement family that enjoys the series. I have written a letter to the cast, writers, advisors, directors, and producers of the “Blue Bloods” Team expressing gratitude for their talent and hard work. The series gives viewers much enjoyment that I found it necessary to do online research attempting to get my letter to the Top CBS Executives. It is my desire to share my family background and the lessons the series gives to this and other law enforcement families. There is nothing more that… Read more »
I’m a Canadian with no interest in the so called royalty. They have long past their value as world leaders, or societies behavior examples. Your high number of viewers are merely looking for another freak show and are not respective fans who enjoy the weekly happenings of their favorite programs. Please give us our daily shows and forget about Oprah and her special guests!
This show’s title “Blue Bloods” refers to the color of NYPD police uniform, so this TV show is not about the British aristocrats or other upper class parasitic entities, sometimes also referred as “blue bloods”.
You apparently don’t watch the show. Its not about ROYALTY. Trust we aren’t interested in Harry, Megan, and Camilla, nor Charles. Yuck!!!!
This is an excellent NYPD POLICE Officer show.
I Love the story lines and family dinners!!
Keep it going!!!!!!!! Please I love it!!!!!!
Renew
Truly one of our favorites! Blue Bloods has always delivered excellent writing, character development & a family atmosphere while maintaining a sense of change with current events. We appreciate that sometimes it doesn’t go as we think it should. Hopefully we learn more about Joe Hill! Great plot twist! Here’s to more seasons with the Reagan’s!!
