TV show description:
This drama is about a multi-generational family who are dedicated to New York City law enforcement.
New York City’s Police Commissioner, Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck), is the head of both the police force and the Reagan family. He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics. Those same politics plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry (Len Cariou), during his stint as Chief.
A widowed father of three boys and a girl, Frank’s essentially a blue-collar guy who’s worked his way up through the ranks. It hasn’t been an easy journey, particularly because he lost his eldest son in the line of duty.
Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) is the oldest surviving Reagan son and a seasoned detective. He’s married, the father of two kids, and a hot-tempered Iraqi War vet who occasionally uses dubious tactics to solve cases.
The sole woman in the Reagan family is Erin Reagan Boyle (Bridget Moynahan). She’s a New York Assistant District Attorney and a newly single parent of a teenage daughter. She also serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father. It was her mother’s wish that she and her younger brother stay in law enforcement but off the police force. She and Danny have each other’s backs but know how to push each other’s buttons too.
Jamie (Will Estes) is the youngest Reagan, fresh out of Harvard Law and the family’s “golden boy.” Unable to deny the family tradition, Jamie decided to give up a lucrative future in law and is now a rookie cop, much to the chagrin of his fiancee. Things become extra complicated when he’s asked to become part of a clandestine police investigation that the rest of the family knows nothing about — something that could impact the family’s legacy forever.

What do you think? Do you like the Blue Bloods TV show? Do you think it should be ending or renewed for a 17th season on CBS?
Blue Bloods Finale
Everybody loves Blue Bloods. Tom Selleck was better as Magnum, but everybody gets old, Right?
One of the mainstays of the show is their Sunday Dinners.
Here’s my suggestion for their final show, whenever?
They sit around at dinner as usual. Everything is nice and congenial. The camera shifts to show the familiar outside of the house. Everyone will think that’s it.
Suddenly The House Blows Up!
WHAT AN ENDING!

Do not end Blue Bloods! Best show on tv today!
In our entire TV-watching lives, my husband and I have never seen a better written nor better acted series. The scrips are current and relevant, and the actresses and actors come into our homes portraying their characters as they invite us into their lives. Blue Bloods is the Gold Standard of television.
I have been a fan of CBS Friday evenings for a least ten years. Now that the last Hawaii Five show is scheduled for April 3, it would be a shame to cancel Blue Bloods. Blue Bloods portrays strong family values and an ethical approach to tough situations police face while trying to do their job. Many episodes offer a teaching moment for young and old alike. Also, many people over fifty years of age are home most evening and tune to CBS for the quality action shows. I watch CBS every night from eight through eleven pm but will… Read more »
11th season of Blue bloods
Love this show.
Blue Bloods is absolutely the best show on prime time TV ever. Tom Selleck is the best and the show always has such a good message and such a strong Family bond!! We need more shows like this ! Please don’t cancel this show!!!
I absolutely love Blue Bloods!! I feel like the Reagan’s are personal friends!!
Blue Bloods is the best show on right now and one of the very few morally decent shows left anywhere. If it is ever cancelled, I will probably cancel TV, period. I am sick of seeing total immorality and aberrant behavior portrayed in my face and treated as if it were normal. I do not want to be brainwashed and reprogrammed. And, I do not like having crap “shoved down my throat,” as so many like to claim about some things. And, I do so much thank you for shows like Blue Bloods and actors with some standards. I thank… Read more »

Love Blue Bloods, it’s the one show I look forward to watching every week. Please renew this program. Your ratings are for the 18-49 age group, consider those over 50. Blue Bloods is a favorite for many in this category.
Best show on TV today, please never cancel. Friday night highlight, wonderful cast.
We DVR Blue Bloods and probably many do – does this count as a positive or negative for viewers counted. Love the show and it would be a shame if it was not renewed for the 11th season. Alot of the other shows come and go but this one is a stable and good TV ethics teaching the value of family – we need a lot more of that!!!!
Not a better show can be found!! Love it!! Can’t always watch on Friday, but DVR it to watch later. One of just a few “regular” shows I watch!!
