Did Sydney make the right choice in the first season of the Bluff City Law TV show on NBC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Bluff City Law is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the season one episodes of Bluff City Law here. *Status update below.
An NBC legal drama, the Bluff City Law TV series stars Jimmy Smits, Caitlin McGee, Scott Shepherd, Barry Sloane, Michael Luwoye, MaameYaa Boafo, Stony Blyden, and Jayne Atkinson. Coming from a famous Memphis family that’s known for taking on injustice, a brilliant lawyer named Sydney Strait (McGee) used to work at her father Elijah’s celebrated law firm until their tumultuous relationship got in the way. After barely speaking to Elijah (Smits) for years, Sydney is suddenly thrust back into the family fold when her philanthropist mother passes away unexpectedly. In the wake of the loss of his wife and in hopes of reconnecting with the daughter he loves, Elijah asks Sydney to rejoin his Civil Rights firm and take on a chemical company whose product may cause cancer. Despite her lingering resentment and distrust, she agrees because she knows that working alongside her father is her best hope at changing the world — as long as they can find a way to get along. No sooner has Sydney returned than she stumbles on a secret that Elijah has been keeping from her that may change everything.

This is one of the best light law dramas lately. I look forward weekly to an episode all the cast is fantastic and it’s just so easy to watch and plenty of drama please!
It’s a shame if they cancel bluff city law, I think it’s a really good show. Watched the whole 1st season again on Hulu
We were late watchers and caught up on on demand . Both husband d a d I love it! Sry much like Law and Order. Once we watched one we couldn’t wait for next episode. Please bring back. Word will get out that this is a first date shls!!
I agree I really loved bluff city law it’s was new fresh and powerful there were times I laughed and cried . Let’s cross r fingers they don’t cancel it
This is one of the best light law dramas lately. I look forward weekly to an episode all the cast is fantastic and it’s just so easy to watch and plenty of drama Plasencia keep it on I am tired of reality shows comedies please keep the dramas such as this one.

Please don’t cancel bluff city law. Give this series a chance as it relates to how the real world views law world. The episodes presented are interested thought provoking sad and hilarious. The actors in these 10 episodes made the plots come alive and you could see yourself as the one who needed help.
Please re-consider cancelling this series!

I consider this show one of the best new dramas on any of the major or other channels. It is not a spinoff of another show and is the first “legal/law” show whose actual contents mimicked the the current ethical and moral questions of our time. I am honestly going to say if NBC cuts this show they are going to lose a large viewer base. This show questions and defines the overall moral,ethical and feasible outcome in each situation. I really loved this show and wanted to see where it went with the different relationships that were brewing. Sad they aren’t renewing it and just left it as it was. Very disappointed!!
I love, love,love this show! I think Bluff City Law is the best new show on TV and will be very upset and disappointed if it is canceled! I like everything about it. The actors, story line and writing. Please don’t cancel it! I was so looking forward to more episodes. I looked forward to watching this show every week.
