Did Sydney make the right choice in the first season of the Bluff City Law TV show on NBC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Bluff City Law is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the season one episodes of Bluff City Law here. *Status update below.
An NBC legal drama, the Bluff City Law TV series stars Jimmy Smits, Caitlin McGee, Scott Shepherd, Barry Sloane, Michael Luwoye, MaameYaa Boafo, Stony Blyden, and Jayne Atkinson. Coming from a famous Memphis family that’s known for taking on injustice, a brilliant lawyer named Sydney Strait (McGee) used to work at her father Elijah’s celebrated law firm until their tumultuous relationship got in the way. After barely speaking to Elijah (Smits) for years, Sydney is suddenly thrust back into the family fold when her philanthropist mother passes away unexpectedly. In the wake of the loss of his wife and in hopes of reconnecting with the daughter he loves, Elijah asks Sydney to rejoin his Civil Rights firm and take on a chemical company whose product may cause cancer. Despite her lingering resentment and distrust, she agrees because she knows that working alongside her father is her best hope at changing the world — as long as they can find a way to get along. No sooner has Sydney returned than she stumbles on a secret that Elijah has been keeping from her that may change everything.

I enjoyed this show very much. I’m sorry to see it get cancelled. It should continue for another season or more. I would like to see the father-daughter relationship get better. Working together on cases with her half brother could get interesting. Plus who is her real father?
We enjoyed watching Bluff City Law and hope it will be renewed next season.
We really enjoyed the episodes of Bluff City Law that we saw; however, there was a problem- maybe a time change – and we weren’t able to find it after the first 5-6 episodes. Hope it will be renewed for next season.

Please renew the Bluff City Law series! It surpasses Blacklist in ratings and votes with a substantial following in the thousands. We’ve been proactive in forming a watch group and seeking new fans. When we began monitoring this site voters numbered just over 6000. This was post season after the final episode. The votes now exceed 20,200 and continues to grow – all post season! A built in audience awaits #BluffCityLawSeasonTwo! Please don’t disappoint us.
The very best….story line is personal and inventive….the acting is natural and believable, fun and touching. Hope it’s on for years, Smit is one of my favorites too and his talents have always been tops in whatever he has appeared in, really like this show.
This is such an awesome TV show. Please don’t cancel this show. It is so very different. That’s why we love this show.

I love this show! It should definitely be renewed! Especially since they left it hanging the way they did! The characters had just been developed and there were so many directions that the writers could go with the story. I will definitely be disappointed if it’s canceled!

This show deserves to be renewed. Great cast and well written scripts. The use of many Memphis locations give the show a real authentic feel.
