Have you fallen head over heels for the first season of the Bob ♥ Abishola TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Bob ♥ Abishola is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the first season episodes of Bob ♥ Abishola here. *Status update below.
Airing on the CBS television network, Bob ♥ Abishola (read as “Bob Hearts Abishola”) stars Billy Gardell, Folake Olowofoyeku, Christine Ebersole, Matt Jones, Maribeth Monroe, Vernee Watson, Shola Adewusi, Travis Wolfe Jr, and Barry Shabaka Henley. Bob (Gardell) owns a very successful compression sock factory in Detroit and runs the business with his mother (Ebersole), his sister (Monroe), and his younger brother (Jones). The stress of the job lands Bob in the hospital with a heart attack and he falls in love with his cardiac nurse named Abishola (Olowofoyeku), an immigrant from Nigeria. She came to America with her young son (Wolf Jr.) and they live with her Auntie Olu (Adewusi) and Uncle Tunde (Henley). Despite their very different backgrounds and her initial lack of interest, Bob is determined to win Abishola’s heart.

Best new show I’ve seen in a long time. Love all the characters, they work well together. My favorite episodes are with Bob’s ex-wife Lorraine in them, she should be in more episodes. I also think Kemi’s character is great, nice to see a grandmother having fun instead of acting like an old lady, I hope this show is on for many years, they’re all great.

The second episode airs tonight (5/24/20) and it’s a doozy! Glad CBS is airing the 2nd episode and hope they continue to air them in sequence. Go Team Bob!

This is hands down my favorite show! I look forward to seeing them every Monday. The characters feel very real and it “works.” I care about both Bob and Abishola and Kemp and …Chewbacca (can’t get his name right.) It’s funny, unexpected and moving. Love the clash of cultures. Unique and very human.
I assume you mean Kemi, Abishola’s friend who’s known her for 20 years. Must confess I’m a little disappointed in Kemi’s character. She is a grandmother who is sneaking into the apartment Chewy shares with his mother for sex. That is so beneath what a grandmother is supposed to be about. Granted, she tells Abishola on the bus when they were continuing their argument that she was a lonely woman. Still find it hard to accept that kind of behavior. I think it’s great that a grandmother is having fun and not acting like an old lady just because of the title of grandmother, don’t change that character.
Just appreciate it show so funny worth watching with family miss The Big Bang Theory most so good too. Please boost ratings I just love it.
This show is one of the highlights on TV! It is adorable, funny, fast-moving and very entertaining! The chemistry among the characters is superb and the writing is typical Chuck Lorre genius! It deserves at least a season two!
I absolutely love this show and look forward to watching it on Monday nights. Such a wonderful cast of characters with different stories in each episode.
Seems like we’ll miss an episode of Bob Hearts Abishola next week–there will be a double airing of “The Neighborhood”. Certain this has happened before and it’s a little bit disappointing. I enjoy the weekly fix of Bob Hearts Abishola.
I think this show is outstanding, I watch it every week. Can’t wait for the next show totally hilarious fantastic good humor good interaction the sun. It’s fantastic. I love his attitude. The trials and tribulation, Bob has with his family, brother and sister is humorously funny. His mother is definitely adding a yours to her situation and the female lead is perfect. I love the show, I weight every week to watch it
Know what you’re saying and echo your feelings. There is an awesome list of actors who pull off the roles in this series fantastically. Can’t help but find myself cheering for them all to make it week after week.
