TV show description:
In this police drama, Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols) is a Protector; a regular cop from Vancouver in the year 2077. Through a series of events, she finds herself trapped in present day — alone and a stranger in a strange land. To make matters worse, there are eight of the most ruthless criminals from the future, known as Liber8, loose in the city.
Thankfully, through the use of her CMR (cellular memory recall — a futuristic liquid chip technology implanted in her brain), Kiera can connect with Alec Sadler (Erik Knudsen), a seventeen-year-old tech genius. Using his prototype 2012 wireless technology, Alec is able to help Kiera track the Liber8 agents and provide her with information to help her operate in our time.
In order to track the terrorists down and keep them from changing the past (and presumably future), Kiera joins the 2012 Vancouver Police Department. Thanks to Alec’s help, she’s able to do this without the necessary credentials. Kiera knows that the eight terrorists will resort to criminal activity to further their goals of taking down the corporations that will one day rule the world.
Partnered up with Detective Carlos Fonnegra (Victor Webster) of the Special Investigations Unit, Kiera positions herself perfectly to hear about Liber8’s activities and to hopefully intervene.
Like Kiera, Carlos is also a cop with a passion for justice. They are from totally opposite ends of the ideological spectrum however. Carlos believes in justice for the individual while Kiera’s 2077 sensibility has brought her to believe in justice for corporations.
Kiera has been brought up and trained to always depend on her technology. She finds that her relationship with Carlos has her learning to listen to her gut for the first time.
Episode #42 — Final Hour
Kiera and Alec risk everything to stop the future soldiers and their devastating plan. Kellog, despite a loose alliance with Kiera, has plans of his own. All factions clash violently in order to determine which path the future will take.
First aired: October 16, 2015.
What do you think? Do you like the Continuum TV series? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a fifth season?
Please renew show It really good show!!
Please Do not cancel! I love this show!
Great show, keep it on
This is one of the best shows that I’ve seen in a while, right along with Defiance. Is it a stituation of life imitating art or vice versa? Keep creating shows like this and you may be able to get away from the ghosts and wrestling. What’s next? Wrestling ghosts?
SyFy You have been following the rest of the channels with this reality S#!t and when you get a good SyFy series you want to chancel it. Try being different and you will find you can prevail. You have cut some of the great SyFy series for things like wrestling, ghost hunting (maybe on the ghost hunting but watching a Rotor Rooter man act scared for the camera does nothing for me.) You now have a winner in Continuum so try not to get stupid like you have with some of the other great SyFy series. This series uses some… Read more »
Keep it going it’s great.
I think the series is great and needs to continue. I missed the first few episodes and would like to know if they will be re-running the first season and when.
Best series on SyFy in a while. Keep em coming, PLEASE. Kira ROCKS..!!!!
i like the show it needs to continue
Continuum appears to have great potential.Good acting, combined with story lines that actually work equal a successful series. SYFY needs to hold onto this one, considering their current downward spiral. The network heads apparrently are possessed with “ghosts in the machine ” series ,i.e..”Ghost Mine, Ghost Hunters,Stranded (with ghosts), Objects Possessed (by ghosts),Paranormal activities (starring ghosts), ad nauseum”.. u get the idea.
This series is fantastic and should continue.
An Awful, Awful show… Please cancel this show… I know alot of money was poured into its making, But cut your losses before you Executives start trying to shove it down our throats…
I’ve seen the first 6 eps now and it’s GREAT! They’re tying up the Carlos guy and Keira too much but the storyline other than that is a good shot for my scifi drug habit!
So far I’m hooked just watching the first episode. I’m going to stick with it and see how the stories of each character progresses. I feel like there are so many story lines that can happen here. Especially since we don’t know anything about the corporations, and their connections.
This series is fantastic the scripts if there as good as the first one will make this on of the Syfy networks all time great series! As of right now this should be renewed indefinitely!
