The energizer bunny of TV shows, the one that will likely outlive us all, has been renewed for the 2010-11 season. Cops is coming back for a 23rd year on FOX.
Cops, a reality video series, follows police officers from across the country as they leap into action and respond to various calls. According to THR, it will soon celebrate its 800th show and 2,044 arrests.
Though many weekend night programs have been slipping in the ratings, Cops has maintained its audience. It consistently attracts a 1.7 rating in the 18-49 demo and about five million viewers on Saturday nights.
Cops creator John Langley is understandably very pleased and said, “We’re doing gangbusters… It’s an existential variety show — dramatic, life-threatening, philosophical and legal. We’re still the only show on television with no script, no actors, no host and no re-enactments.”
I like watching cops, but what is really funny is to watch one or two women cops try to take down a man or a woman, because they cannot. Why do we let these feminine wisses try to do a man’s job. Let the men do this job and you girls go back to typing and being a dispatcher. The only thing you girls are doing is endanering the other offficers. But that is America. I don’t care about your freedom of expression, I worry about the officers you are endangering.

Hey Fred look I am a Police Officer and to tell the truth I would rather have some female officers watching my back then some of the male officers I work with. Some of them do a pretty damn good job. So watch what you say it might come back to bite you in the ass
