There’s still no word on when Larry David will be making a ninth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm but, last night on Saturday Night Live, he gave fans perhaps the next best thing. While hosting SNL, David starred in a sketch that parodied Curb and (once again) played Presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders.
Titled Bern Your Enthusiasm, the sketch shows Sanders upsetting voters (Leslie Jones and Aidy Bryant) in Iowa, despite the best efforts of his Curb-like friends (Bobby Moynihan, Cecily Strong, and Jay Pharoah).
Take a look:
The real Sanders made a cameo later in the episode and had a chat with his impersonator.
What do you think? Did you enjoy the sketch? Do you think that David will really make a ninth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm someday?
SNL has not been funny for 2 decades.
This was hilarious.
