It was only a few weeks ago that Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat announced he’s just started working on season 10 of BBC’s popular sci-fi series. Now, Digital Spy is reporting the series may not return until the end of 2016.
In a radio interview, the series’ production designer, Michael Pickwoad, revealed that shooting for season 10 would probably not begin until spring of next year, pushing the season 10 premiere possibly later than expected.
The show is currently in the middle of its ninth season, which began shooting in January and premiered on September 19. So does this mean a later premiere for season 10?
Moffat couldn’t confirm, only saying the series has been picked up for another 13 episodes and a Christmas special.
What do you think? Do you watch Doctor Who? How do you feel about season nine so far?
