TV show description:
This TV series gives a new take on the classic Arthur Conan Doyle characters. It’s a modern-day drama about a crime-solving duo that cracks the NYPD’s most impossible cases.
Following his fall from grace in London and a stint in rehab, eccentric detective Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) escapes to Manhattan where his wealthy father forces him to live with his worst nightmare — a sober companion, Doctor Joan Watson (Lucy Liu). She was a successful surgeon until she lost a patient and her license three years ago.
Watson views her current job as another opportunity to help people, as well as paying a penance. However, the restless Sherlock is nothing like her previous clients. He informs her that none of her expertise as an addiction specialist applies to him and he’s devised his own post-rehab regimen — resuming his work as a police consultant in New York City.
Watson finds she has no choice but to accompany her irascible new charge on his jobs. In the end, Sherlock finds her medical background helpful, and Watson realizes she has a knack for playing investigator.
Sherlock’s police contact is Captain Tobias “Toby” Gregson (Aidan Quinn). He knows, from previously working with Scotland Yard, that Sherlock is brilliant at closing cases, and welcomes him as part of the team.
Episode #154 — The Last Bow
Amidst Holmes and Watson’s battle with tech billionaire Odin Reichenbach, the investigators receive word of their old enemy and Sherlock’s former love, Jamie Moriarty.
First aired: August 15, 2019.
What do you think? Do you like the Elementary TV series on CBS? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for season eight?

Please do not cancel, it is the only true mystery show on TV. I look forward to watching every weeek and I am extremely disappointed that it has not aired for the 2017/2018 season.
Only TV show I watch every episode and purchase all the DVD’s.
Love Elementary!!! I even DVR when away so not to miss anything. Johnny Lee and Lucy have a good chemistry. Like their partnership banter.
please do not cancel a worth watching series. thanks.
I like this show. It is different, please continue
I hope it makes it. I like it.
I’m a Jonny Lee Miller fan from way back. He makes any show better. I’ve never been a big Holmes fan. But, put Jonny in the role of “Sherlock,” and I’m hooked! CBS cancelled my favorite sitcom (“Partners”). Do I expect that CBS will also cancel my favorite new drama, too? The question may not be elementary. Please keep it running!
CBS: Do not cancel this show.
[…] Elementary […]
Huge Sherlock fan, predominately Conan Doyle work, but I do really dig the BBC/Cumberbatch series. This surprised me, I’m not ga-ga over it, but it keeps me entertained. The writing is sound, deduction is witty, not 100% sold on Miller yet, he’s getting there though.
My husband and I love Elementary. It makes Friday night TV awesome following Fringe, one of our all time favorite series. Elementary is witty, clever, funny and entertaining. Please give us more, more, more Elementary!
Damn, I’m a sucker for Sherlock. Not the BBC Cumberbatch version, but entertaining enough. I suspect if I like it at it will be cancelled.
Not a bad show at all.
