The end is getting closer for FOX’s Friday night series, Fringe. The network announced in May that the ratings-challenged show would return for a fifth and final year of 13 episodes.
The new season of Fringe is set to kick off on Friday, September 28th at 9pm. The final episodes will focus largely on events during the year 2036. The team members will be trying to figure out how to rescue a Earth ruled by Observers.
For those needing a reminder as to why the team needs to “fight for the future,” last season’s “Letters of Transit” episode will be re-aired on FOX this Saturday night at 11pm.
What do you think? Are you looking forward to seeing how Fringe comes to an end? Do you think all of the main characters will survive?
I just hope they wrap it up in a logical (for Fringe) and acceptable conclusion. None of the disappointments of other shows in the past, like Lost and the last couple of minutes of Battlestar Galactica.
Kinda cool! Too bad the series is ending but at least they told them so they and have an ending.
