What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Hallmark Channel the Good Witch TV show stars Catherine Bell, James Denton, Sarah Power, Catherine Disher, Kylee Evans, Katherine Barrell, Marc Bendavid, and Scott Cavalheiro. Set in the town of Middleton, the show follows Cassandra “Cassie” Nightingale (Bell). She’s the owner of a shop called Bell, Book & Candle and is recently married to Dr. Sam Radford (Denton). Like her daughter Grace, Cassie has the gift of enchanted insight and magical intuition. The velvet pouches of soil discovered by Cassie, Abigail (Power), and Joy (Barrell) at the end of season six mark the start of a new Merriwick mystery for the cousins to unravel. This leads them to reflect on their pasts and how certain life events have impacted who they are now. Alongside the usual Middleton fun, season seven promises new relationships, personal challenges, and romance.
Season Seven Ratings

Will Hallmark Channel cancel or renew Good Witch for season eight? The show has done very well for Hallmark but Cassie’s been on the air for a long time (since 2008, if you include the movies). At some point, this show will end its run but I suspect it will have a ninth season. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. The Good Witch is a wholesome, funny, decent series without all the sexual mess that’s in a lot of series today. I love all the actors in the show especially Martha YooHoo 🙂 Let them do the season 8 please.

I was really hoping the show would be renewed. Please at least do some new movies. It was one of my favorites.
Good Witch has been my happy place ever since I discovered the magic of the program/stories, it’s characters, and beautiful location shots. I watch it everyday. It is so calming. I wish there was a way to bring the show back. There is nothing else out there to watch that compares to this show.

I’m so sad Good Witch was canceled, what a a joy to have during these troubling times, made me laugh, cry, & took me away to the beautiful town of Middleton, I would love to live there. I’m praying for Hallmark to bring this show back, & rethink there decision. God Bless to the cast for bringing me so much enjoyment. I’m watching the series again for the 3rd time.
Please have a season 8
Would love to see an 8th season and other similar shows.
In looking at the prior seasons, I see such a stark contrast in the way each story played out — the magic of Bell Book & Candle, the in-and out of various characters and their stories, there always being a reason for a community celebration or fair or competition…. — there truly was a lightness that was so refreshing. If that could be captured in new ways I think a huge portion of your audience would love to return. If we want depressing and dark, we have and apparently will continue to have a smorgasbord of dismal options!
Please bring Good Witch back! I am devastated it was cancelled. The actors are all amazing and beautifully suited to their roles which led to Middleton being a truly magical place.
If anything, the story line needed to be improved. The Wedding was a fantastic episode but only to end the show was very sad. I’m still biting back the tears.
Please consider a spin-off or movies. Don’t lose your beloved fans and incredibly talented Good Witch cast.

Please have a season 8. This is my favourite show. I also would like more Good Witch movies… maybe a Christmas one. So hard to find good family shows these days.
