Hannibal fans have hope. The series was cancelled by NBC after just three seasons, but there is word that a fourth season is still definitely in the cards. According to The Wrap, Bryan Fuller spoke about the future of the series at an event held on Wednesday.
He said the following:
“The cast is game, I’m game, it’s just a matter of finding the right time where everybody’s schedules sync up, but I would love to continue to tell the story with [series stars] Hugh Dancy and Mads Mikkelsen.”
Fuller has a full plate at the moment with American Gods and the new Star Trek reboot in production, but he has a date in mind for the start of discussion for season four. He teased the following:
“August 2017 is when we can actually start talking about it. That’s when we would have to see what the rights are for the character and for the story, and see who’s interested and how we get it done. I have the story, and the cast is excited for the story, so we’re ready to go if somebody wants to go.”
That could mean a return date in 2018 – if the talks go well. Do you want Hannibal to return? Tell us what you think.

Oh please continue with this series. I have followed the actor Mads Mikkelsen for some time. Valhalla Rising was amazingly done by him. I beg you please make this series continue. It is not often I adore a television series but this is the exception to that. The acting was astounding and the storyline kept me enthralled utterly.

I missed most of the series because I never knew when it was on. (Thanks, NBC!) After streaming a few episodes I bought the whole series from Amazon and just finished watching it.
This series is a masterpiece! I hope there will be more. NBC is stupid for not selling this better.
Please bring back Hannibal. I started to watch this and omg. I love it. Then I read it was cancelled.

I love this show. It is one of my favourite tv series and I will be gutted if the fourth season didn’t go ahead. I’m keeping everything crossed for it’s return!!!

So the critics are disappointed. Personally it seems slow at times, extreme in the viciousness however Hannibal really has to be an exotic freak if we are going to unfold the hidden depths we got from the film. A dang good shrink. Bit Rogerian with his technique and it helps me to dwell upon his and his clients inner states. My compliments to the chef. Do love the harpsichord. Goes with the quality of the meal so to speak. Are you crazy?! Bring it on. The story is somewhat timeless in our time. THAT cast?!, BRIAN F.?! THAT group of geniuses?! I never thought it would happen again in my lifetime. I feel a weaning of my daily weeping coming on
