What do you think? Do you like the How to Get Away with Murder TV series? Should it be cancelled or renewed for a fifth season on ABC?
5/11/18 update: ABC has renewed How to Get Away with Murder for season five. Details here.
We love it. Please renewed it for a fifth season on ABC
The show started off great. The addition of gay relationships and people with special skills added new insight to the plots. However the show has gone down the path of tearing each character apart. This is now the underlying theme. It would have been a great show if sequential plots had built connection and power between the main characters. This would have allowed the group to progressively deal more effectively with the “bad guys”. All this said, the erratic scheduling of the show over the last two years has seriously crippled any kind of viewer following. It is almost like… Read more »
Renew How To Get Away With Murder
I was intrigued by this show when it first started, not so much now. I don’t care to see all the sex scenes between the various characters. I’d rather it be about the clients/trials they represent. Getting bored now. Sorry.
This season is Liza Weil’s season. She is stealing every scene, especially on the episode of the 26th. Her portrayal of Bonnie is so powerful this season. Everyone has stepped up their acting game this season. I really hope that us fans get an actual ending (like one more season???) So we are not left on a cliffhanger. This show is still so strong in writing and acting and deserves another season.
The ratings drop is not good. I don’t know how is it that Mr. Robot and HTGAWM start out with such strong ratings but dip after that even though they’re still good in quality and have a strong social media presence. Well, HTGAWM is not as interesting as in season 1, but the ratings are too low.
I have watched the show since the beginning. It was definitely something different when it started. But after last season I started growing a little tired of it. At this point I don’t care/like any of the characters. Watched about 30 minutes of season 4/E1 and deleted it. It just has becoming so depressing that I didn’t want to go through a whole season of it.
Gotta agree with Rob here, although not because the season premiere was depressing, but more that I’ve simply stopped caring about these characters. The plotting seems forced now — as though they had a premiere date they had to meet and rushed scripts to meet it. The “Where’s my baby?” flash-forwards are not compelling to me. I’ll give it another few episodes, but if there’s nothing compelling at the winter break, I’m out.
Yes, love this show.
Please keep it going. Such a good show! Dont let us down, 7-8 seasons would be perfect.
