A legal-thriller, How to Get Away with Murder stars Viola Davis, Billy Brown, Jack Falahee, Aja Naomi King, Matt McGorry, Karla Souza, Charlie Weber, Liza Weil, and Conrad Ricamora. Amirah Vann, Rome Flynn, and Timothy Hutton joined as series regulars in season five. The story centers on the world of Middleton University Professor Annalise Keating (Davis). Murder, deception, fear and guilt bind her to her long-time associates and students. This season, a new mystery involving one of their own will unfold, as relationships are fractured, and new secrets are exposed.

Series creator Pete Nowalk says, “Deciding to end this series was a brutal decision, but ultimately the story tells you what to do – as it did here. For me, Annalise Keating’s journey has always had a clear ending. Knowing I have 15 episodes left to finish her story, and the chance to give all the characters their own killer endings, is a gift rarely given to a series creator and I’m grateful to ABC and ABC Studios for the opportunity and creative freedom. I am so thankful to the brilliant cast, writers and crew for dedicating themselves to the most rewarding experience of my career over the last six years. I also want to thank our fans. The only reason this show exists is because of your loyalty and enthusiasm. I can’t wait for you all to see how it ends, with twists and turns and all the craziness we love to create every Thursday night. Buckle up.”

What do you think? Do you like the How to Get Away with Murder TV show? Do you think it’s ending at the right time or, would you have watched a seventh season?
The shows is amazing..love the twist and turned but how are you going to leave everyone on a cliff hanger…so wes is still alive?
Who killed Asher?
Where is Laurel?
Why did Bonnie call Frank?
What happened to Annalise after she asked the driver to stop, then shows up on a plane?
So much to be answered?
I really feel that their should be a seventh season.
Love this show. Watch it religiously. Hate to think of Thursday evening without Viola. The cast of young people are terrific. The story lines are exciting. From the first show I’ve been hooked.
I’d love to think it would continue past this season.
PS. I was a Gilmore Girls fan. Was impressed with how well ‘Paris’ performed as a dark character.
Also, I’m 62, not in your demographics.
I understand the pending end of the tv series “HTGWM” and will be truly missed! Ms. Viola Davis is such an awesome artist in her forte! The cast also has extraordinary acting skills. Perhaps a spinoff could be created from the series! Redemption is a beautiful thing!
This is my favorite show on television/cable. I am truly sad to see it go. The acting is great and the plots are fantastic (how do we know that similar things don’t take place in this world. Corruption is at it’s highest right now). Good luck to the actors.
I love this show and would watch 100 or more seasons! The acting is terrific and the story is compelling, though so complex at times as to leave viewers confused and running to the internet where they hope to gain clarity. I sincerely hope that you will try to persuade the decision-makers and the actors to agree to additional seasons.
NO!! I love this show. Viola Davis is the best actress. I would have watched 10 seasons of this.
I understand that it’s time to go but I’m soooo sad about it! My husband and I make sure that we’re home or done with everything to watch this show every week for the last 5 years, or make sure we DVR it! We won’t miss an episide! We love this show and yes, some of the occurrences may be far fetched, but hey, it’s Hollywood and it’s our escape! No more Scandal, no mo more How to Get Away with Murder?! What will we watch?! Guess I’ll be getting more sleep! Very sad but looking forward to watching the… Read more »
ONCE AGAIN, A GREAT SHOW IS ENDING. SHONDA RIMES HAS FANTASTIC SHOWS. ALSO NOT SURE WHY FOR THE PEOPLE WAS CANCELLED ALSO. I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THE INTERESTING SHOWS ARE CANCELLED AND THEY ALWAYS FILL THE SPOT WITH LESS THAN AVERAGE SHOWS.
I am happy they are ending this as it has become more absurd with each season. The students will never fit in to a regular law practice after all the crimes they’ve committed. And wouldn’t employers wonder why law school became like a 15 year project? And with all Annalise’s crimes, cover ups & substance abuses would she really be hired as a professor? I
think everyone here got caught on the shark’s fin several years back. Now write them off a proper send off, even if it isn’t pretty.
Only saw the first season & lost complete interest in it. Can’t believe they still have sponsors!
Love this show. Hate to think it will be ending so soon. Writers are clever enough to continue for several more seasons.
I am so so so so so sorry to the show end ..i would have loved a 7th season
I would definitely watch more seasons, I love this show. But, as we all know, good things come to an end. We fans will just have to accept the decision. Thank you ABC for an amazing show.
This is a good idea and I’m glad this is planned before the season starts. I’ve watched all 5 seasons, but wondered about the end-game for this series. Now the producers will have a chance to plan an official ending.
OMG, my worst heartbreak has happened, you cannot cancel one of the most groundbreaking, innovative, nail biting, emotional, sexy, classy show, and of course the best actors on the planet. (Frank, I luv you….don’t tell Bonnie!). Please please please reconsider. #bringbackHTGAWM
