It looks like Handyman Bruce is out of work. The CW network has pulled the Killer Camp series from the schedule after just two episodes. Has it been cancelled?
A reality series with a scary whodunnit twist, the Killer Camp TV show is an homage to campy horror flicks from the 1980s. Camp Counselor Bobby (host Bobby Mair) welcomes a mix of 13 unlucky American and British campers to Camp Pleasant. They’re ready for fun but are quickly reminded that not everyone will survive. After all, one of them is a killer who will engage the help of homicidal Handyman Bruce to kill their new friends, one by one. The campmates are immediately thrown into several challenges to try to bank cash for their prize fund or, to win immunity. All the while, the killer among them tries to sabotage the games. As campers are “killed” by Bruce in humorous and grisly ways, the survivors work to expose the killer among them for a piece of the $50,000 cash prize.
After two installments, the second season of Killer Camp averages a 0.04 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 160,000 viewers in the live+same day ratings (includes all DVR playback through 3:00 AM). Compared to season one, that’s down by 69% in the demo and down by 63% in viewership in the live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM). While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel.
Killer Camp is the lowest-rated show on the network’s schedule and it’s now been pulled. The CW programmers are filling the timeslot with reruns of Masters of Illusion for the next two weeks.
Word is that the horror reality series may return to The CW’s schedule at some point in the future. Given that the network is now programing Saturday night timeslots, that evening might be a possibility. In any case, it’s hard to imagine that leftover episodes would draw any better ratings or that the show would warrant a third season.

Yes i am very sadden by this it was one of the best horror related game shows that i love it sadden me just as much as when i found out that youtube pulled season 5 for there youtube oringal show escape the night which was another horror based game/reality tv show. In a world where reboots and sequels and spin off dominate the air waves it was nice to see a genuine new show on the airwaves and season 1 was awsome for killer camp, i was generally happy that there was a season 2 seeing it started out… Read more »
What a lame excuse! The CW didn’t even take into consideration the many fans this series has. Yes, believe it or not there are horror fans who do love silly campy horror. This show delivers that! Shame on the network for depriving the true fans of the show and catering to the whining ******* that don’t get the shows campy humor.

I liked the show nothing else on TV of any interest during that time slot think more than being angry over pulling it off the air is that this happens way too much these days you start watching a show get invested and they pull it.
I enjoyed Killer Camp. I hope the CW reinstates the show. I am very disappointed that they canceled the show. I will not be watching the rerun put on in its place. I will be watching another network.
How silly to pull this show when the best time to air it is, obviously, OCTOBER. Is reruns of another show really going to get more ratings? The first season only had five episodes, so I don’t expect this one had much more than that, so why not just let it play out?
Is it a good show? God no…the cast is filled with uber-irritating people. But I was gonna watch it to the end, as I did the first season….

I like this show, but not a must watch. The counselor looks like a comedian trying to hard to be serious that is hilarious!!! The highlight of every episode is the kill scenes to finish each episode. They also throw in some surprises mid episode. We’ll if I need another auto record slot, this one’s getting cut.

Never watched it but since it got low ratings then that must of mean people wasn’t interested in this show! Hit and miss! Better luck next time!

Aw, c’mon. This show is so campy it’s hysterical. It’s a bit of comic relief from all the stupid reality and competition shows. Bring it back.
