What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Netflix paid subscription platform, The Kominsky Method stars Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin with Nancy Travis, Sarah Baker, and Susan Sullivan. Season one guest stars include Lisa Edelstein, Emily Osment, Graham Rogers, Danny Devito, Ann-Margret, Jay Leno, Patti LaBelle, and Ashleigh LaThorpe. A former star, Sandy Kominsky (Douglas) is now a respected acting coach. Impeccably dressed, Norman Newlander (Arkin) is his best friend and longtime agent. Sandy and Norman keep each other laughing as they navigate the ups and downs of getting older in Los Angeles, a city that worships youth and beauty.
The Kominsky Method has been renewed for a second season which will debut October 25, 2019. Stay tuned for further updates.

Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is difficult to predict whether Netflix will cancel or renew The Kominsky Method for season two. As long as the stars want to continue, I think it will be renewed. For now, I’ll keep an eye on the trades and press releases and update this page with breaking developments. Hope The Kominsky Method is renewed. Absolutely love this show. Got Netflix just for this show when it was announced. PLEASE renew. Best show on tv in years.
I loved everything about the Kominsky Method -So refreshing.. and SO funny. Even the sad moments were perfectly written and executed. I think A. Arkin and M. Douglas were amazing in this series, as are the rest of the actors/actresses. Each episode left me ‘wanting more’. Keeping my fingers crossed that this will be renewed for at least another season…. hopefully with more episodes next season… 8 episodes was just a teaser.
I hope they renew it for a second season. It is a rare beauty.
Love The Kominsky Method. We will BBC e devadtated if it is cancelled. One of a coule tv series that addresses peole “of a certain age”. SO relatable. Great humor from two of the best. And Nancy Allen, a strong woman in her own right, is a much-welcomed voice of reason. Praying it comes.back!!

I loved this show. I really hope it will be renewed. There are not many shows with that quality of actors and writing. Looking forward to the good news and date I will be able to watch season 2 and continue with 3.
Throughly enjoyed Season 1! Alan Arkin and Michael Douglas are an excellent comedic pairing. The guest star list was also outstanding. All in all a very entertaining offering. Hoping there is a Season 2.
Renew for season 2
Enjoyed season one very much. Great acting, great writing, very, very funny! It’s got it all. Looking forward to several more seasons.
Just was writing how much I hoped this show would continue into Season 2 & reasons why When some stupid ad saying “congratulations etc burst in & I lost connection. It obliterated what I was writing. Think the show should be continued. It addresses issues for the AARP GENERATIONS & is thought provoking.
I think with good publicity it will catch on! Love the 3 main characters Norman, Elaine & Kominsky!
