Will there be another season of The Last Kingdom? SpoilerTV reports the UK series has been renewed for a third season.
The historical drama, which streams on Netflix in the U.S., takes place during the early history of England, when the land was divided into separate kingdoms. The cast includes Alexander Dreymon, David Dawson, Emily Cox, Ian Hart, and Tobias Santelmann.
Recently, a casting notice was released for season three of The Last Kingdom. Neither Netflix nor the BBC have confirmed a renewal, but the casting notice suggests there most likely will be.

I really enjoy this show. I rank it with the great shows like Doctor Who, NCIS, Walking Dead, Last Man Standing. Because I love historical shows, It has a slant on History of old England. There should be more like this to teach people the value of our ancestry and how we came about. Great going BCC and Net Flix, you hit a home run with me.

I love The Last Kingdom!!!!!’ I have watched both 1 &2 Seasons about four times. The story and actors are perfect. I chose to pay for Netflix instead of Hulu because of The Last Kingdom. I just binge watched season 2 I had been holding it, but definitely one of the best shows on netflix, nice plot, nice acting & nice cinematography keep it renewing is worth watching.

Yes. Please renew. The Last Kingdom is well acted, has excellent scenery, good story lines, good acting, good cinematography, good audio, accurate historical facts, etc. All of these qualities makes for a very entertaining TV series.
