What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, MacGyver stars Lucas Till, Tristin Mays, Justin Hires, Meredith Eaton, Levy Tran, and Henry Ian Cusick. A reimagining of the 1985 TV series, this show centers on Angus “Mac” MacGyver (Till), a 20-something adventurer. Mac is an operative in a secret organization within the US government called the Phoenix Foundation. There, he uses his vast scientific knowledge and an extraordinary talent for unconventional problem-solving to save lives. In his high-risk missions, Mac is aided by hacker Riley Davis (Mays); Mac’s best friend, prosthetics expert Wilt Bozer (Hires); Director of Operations Matty Weber (Eaton); the team’s protector, Desi Nguyen (Tran); and Russ Taylor (Cusick), a quick-witted former military operative and manipulator. Under the aegis of the Phoenix Foundation, MacGyver takes on the responsibility of saving the world, armed to the teeth with resourcefulness and little more than bubble gum and a paper clip.
Season Five Ratings
The fifth season of MacGyver averaged a 0.51 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.74 million viewers. Compared to season four, that’s down by 24% in the demo and down by 22% in viewership. Find out how MacGyver stacks up against other CBS TV shows.

This is one our family’s favorite shows. The series is well written and well acted, my 18 year old daughter thinks Lucas Till is hot. With all the silly shows on cable TV, MacGyver is such an entertaining ride each week. Please CBS RENEW MACGYVER and bring some joy back into our home during this Covid 19 mess. All of our frIends have said how much they are going to miss Mac and the team.

Please do not cancel MacGyver!! Very disappointed with CBS for this!! This is our families favorite show and things were not wrapped up in season 5!! We need more MacGyver! Bring it back please!!
I love this show and all the characters. I look forward to watching it as I am home bound. This is one of my favorite shows. Please don’t cancel it you already took off my other favorite shows which are Scorpion and Hawaii five O.
I enjoyed the show but was getting annoyed this season with the politics being put into the show. After all, this is entertainment not a political grandstand

Our family is very disappointed that this show is being cancelled. We look forward every week to all watch as a family.
And will all questions be answered in the finale? Probably not the way it deserves. Will Mac & Riley get together? Where has Maddie been? What about Codex? Is it truly over? What about Murdoc? Is he gone for good? We just met Bozer’s parents. We were hoping to see more of them.

Absolutely and I really think Mac and Riley are a better romantic match than Desi. Please bring back MacGyver for Season 6 nobody gets out of trouble like Mac and it’s a great show with a great cast.
