Is Elizabeth McCord getting the job done during the fifth season of the Madam Secretary TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Madam Secretary is cancelled or renewed for season six. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all the Madam Secretary season five episodes here. *Status update below.
A CBS political thriller, Madam Secretary stars Téa Leoni, Tim Daly, Sara Ramirez, Željko Ivanek, Keith Carradine, Sebastian Arcelus, Patina Miller, Geoffrey Arend, Erich Bergen, Kathrine Herzer, Wallis Currie-Wood, and Evan Roe. The drama follows the shrewd, determined Elizabeth McCord (Leoni). As U.S. Secretary of State, she battles office politics, while driving diplomacy and negotiating global deals.
Elizabeth was once a CIA analyst, who exited that post for ethical reasons. She later returned to public life, at the request of President Conrad Dalton (Carradine). He values her apolitical leanings, knowledge of the Middle East, flair for languages, and unconventional thinking. Elizabeth is married to Henry (Daly), a former theology professor who is now an intelligence operative. Together, they’re bringing up three children, which can really test her diplomatic skills.

Madame Secretary is one of the very best shows I’ve ever watched. The network would be foolish not to renew this show. It’s intelligently written and the acting is superb. Madame President would be the logical next evolution.
Madam Secretary is a wonderful and great show. I think Madam Secretary should be renewed for a sixth season. I like how Elizabeth McCord and her actions and events can actually happen in reel life.
Madam Secretary is a well-written series that should remain for another season. It does need to be on earlier, since it’s time slot is hurting the series. The time that it was on at 8 PM was great.
I hope that Madame Secretary will be renewed for another season, it it the best series for “grown-ups” out there. IT’s also my favorite show. It would be greatly missed!!!
I really hope there will be a sixth season, Madame Secretary is my favorite show. If it was taken off, I wouldn’t have any really good shows for “grown-ups” to watch. Madame Secretary is the best!!!
I hope we see another season. I look forward to seeing Elizabeth run for President. I would love to see how Elizabeth deals with dealing with debate prep and campaign as a women.

Please keep Madame Secretary it’s the only government official we can be proud of right now it’s entertaining and has been educational I wish west wing would come back also we don’t need anymore cop shows NCIS series are great I wish you would bring back CSI
Loved it first 3 seasons. Then it became tedious. Then Bebe Neuworth departed and her absence left a decided hole in the show. Some episodes aired with the viewer having no idea what was intended by the current political issue. (We/they who don’t have TV guide or the like.) We quit watching mid-season #4. It should be cancelled.
We, husband and I, greatly enjoy the show. I think it is better this season than ever. I certainly hope it will be back. Can’t wait to see how the presidentisl campaign is handled!
Love the show! Want Season 6 or 7 to change to Madam President … lots of new twists and turns could be added as Elizabeth McCord becomes President of the United States!!!!!!!! Love the show!!!!

I love the show. It’s one of the best on TV. I would love for it to get renewed. It really upsets me that my age group isn’t considered in the rating. I’m 52 years old and I watch a lot of TV. Actually I believe older people watch more TV than the age range of 18 through 49. The rating should be considered for all people who watch TV not certain age groups. I absolutely LOVE this show! LOVE the content, love the hard decisions, love how she has to be so diplomatic. the whole cast is incredible! Whoever cast this show is brilliant. I love the chemistry between her and her husband. She is the secretary and still a mom to her kids. I HOPE they never cancel this show! I watch it on Netflix so I can binge with no commercials. I like the show. Hope it gets renewed for the next season. Now the show on 12/23/2018. I lived in AZ. Yuma to be exact. That was in 1992. Even then we were getting helicopters flying over head getting illegal immigrants. That was 1992. Now 26 years later the problem has increased 2000 fold. Now native Americans are getting shot. Include in the show this occurring as well. Gives a more detailed info.
