What’s up next for Orphan Black? Tatiana Maslany, star of the BBC America TV show, recently teased some details about the series’ upcoming fourth season with The Hollywood Reporter .
On the sci-fi show, Maslany plays several different clones all at the center of a vast conspiracy.
In the interview, Maslany said season four will further explore the clone mystery:
It [the fourth season] reflects back to what Sarah learnt in the first season, to questions she had then, things she was discovering, and we definitely will understand better what was going on.
We mostly go back with Sarah. In her investigation, and in her probing of what’s going on with the truth and this mystery, she ends up going back to places we’ve been before, but we didn’t know why we were there.”
Earlier, we reported a new clone would be introduced this season. Maslany mentioned the storyline for season four will be “dense”:
The plot is very dense and my brain isn’t a plotty brain. It’s an in-the-moment, impulse and instinctual thing. It’s how does a person feel about the situation they’re in. How does it make them react.”
Season four of Orphan Black premieres on April 14th. Following the premiere will be the debut of the new Orphan Black aftershow, After the Black.
