What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Netflix subscription service, Ozark stars Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Julia Garner, Lisa Emery, Janet McTeer, Tom Pelphrey, and Jessica Francis Dukes. The story centers on Marty Byrde (Bateman), a Chicago financial advisor who, along with his family, becomes entangled with a dangerous drug cartel. In season three, the Byrdes are back in business and the stakes have never been higher. As tensions mount surrounding their new casino, The Missouri Belle, Marty, and Wendy (Linney) struggle to balance their family’s safety with the growing success of their money-laundering empire.
Ozark has been renewed for a fourth and final season which will resume on April 29, 2022. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is difficult to predict whether Netflix will cancel or renew Ozark for season four. Generally speaking, Netflix TV shows which are going to be renewed are usually picked up within a month or so of the series or season premiere. Given the cast and reviews, I suspect Ozark will be renewed, as long as the cast and creators want to keep the show going. I’ll keep my ears open and an eye out for news, and will update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for free alerts on Ozark cancellation or renewal news.

Amazingly written and acted, despite a couple of “Jump the shark” moments in Season 3. As much as I’d love for it to continue, the season finale seemed a perfect wrap for the series. Stretching the plotline further would test willing suspension of disbelief.
Our family LOVES Ozark! One of our favorites. Please renew it! we have to find out what happens to Ruth. Our entire family binge watched all 3 seasons and are ready for more!
Please don’t put spoilers in the comments! I just wanted to say I haven’t finished Season 3 yet but they said they had a 5 season plan so that’s what I think it should be. So Renew Ozark for Season 4 and 5!

HALL OF FAME / Lifetime Emmy’s .
They are simply delicious in their roles .

Amazing series with top notch screen writers, actors and cinematography. How can you go wrong with Jason Bateman and Laura Linney? Season 3 was even more interesting and complex than previous seasons with great cliff hanger episodes leaving it difficult to wait for the next! There are so many potential story lines for upcoming seasons. I really hope this talented team continues!
Ozark!!!!!!!!! GREAT SERIES!!!! As good as Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, just to name a few!!!

I think the show’s great and I hope it continues for quite a while. It reminds me a lot of the show Breaking Bad but the characters are unique enough that they’re keeping me glued to the TV. My fave character is Ruth so I’m interested to see how her story turns out.
