There are several TV shows on the air that are based on comic book series. Some are doing well while others are not. How will Preacher perform for AMC? Cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
A supernatural and darkly comedic drama, Preacher follows a West Texas preacher, Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power. Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) come together and are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

What do you think? Do you like the Preacher TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Second season is just as fun and more substantial – Lovin it! What happen to Gregory? or Joffrey.. what ever your name is who was trying get this show cancelled? Haha! this show ROCKS! continue on PREACHER!
PLEASE RENEW THIS SHOW. I LOVE IT. GREAT ACTORS, GREAT STORY LINE YES YES YES THE PREACHE.
We absolutely loved this show *Preacher* !!! ….please put it back on tv. Thanks so much.
Renew this show is awesome! 10/10
Never followed the comic myself,so there is no fair way to
make a comparison…However,as a stand alone show it has
proven very compelling.Haven’t found many details to really
find boring or faulty, and the acting was beautiful.Seems it is
always hard to take a story and move it from it’s original lay
out or dimension,as you might say.The only thing For Sure
that most of us WILL Agree upon* (*is that Jesse talkin’?),is
that Sequels, like in the movies, generally suck.I give this show
high marks for all the hard work to make it happen as well.
