Although season one of the Pure TV show premieres tomorrow on Hulu, when CBC released its 2017-18 programming slate, a second season of the crime drama wasn’t included. TV, eh?, a Canadian television site, reports Pure is cancelled. Will it do well enough on Hulu, that the streaming service will pick it up? Stay tuned.
The Pure TV series stars Ryan Robbins, Alex Paxton-Beesley, Peter Outerbridge, A.J. Buckley, Gord Rand, Dylan Taylor, Rosie Perez, Jessica Clement, Dylan Everett, Aaron Hale, Lanette Ware, Cory Bowles, Felix Bieger, Patrick Garrow, Gary Levert, Joanne Miller, and Wendy Lyon. The story follows Noah Funk (Robbins). A Mennonite pastor and dairy farmer, Noah goes undercover to rid his community of a drug trafficking ring.
We’ll keep an eye out, to see if Pure does well enough on Hulu to score a season two renewal. Stranger things have happened.
What do you think? Do you like the sound of the Pure TV series? Do you plan to check out season one on Hulu, even though CBC has cancelled the show?
Why did you cancel PURE? Please bring it back.
This is an excellent series, I can’t believe it’s been cancelled.
I loved this show please give it another season on Hulu. I’m hooked now!!
Loved the show!!!
I loved this show and am very disappointed to hear it was cancelled by CBC. I hope Hulu picks it up- I need to know what happens next!
I also loved this unique series and hope to see it continued soon.
I am surprised and disappointed. This was a pretty good series and thought it had great potential.
Relatively well written, very well produced, solid acting, somewhat poorly paced ( too much happened in 6 episodes); almost knowing the “end” was near..
Was definitely worth fine tuning though..
I bet someone will pick up its future.
