Last season, SEAL Team was one of the lowest-rated scripted TV shows on CBS that was still renewed for the 2019-20 season. Will the numbers improve in season three? Could they drop lower? Will SEAL Team be cancelled or renewed for season four? Stay tuned. *Status update below.
A military drama TV show, SEAL Team stars David Boreanaz, Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley, Toni Trucks, Jessica Paré, and Judd Lormand, with Brock Reynolds, Trent Sawyer, and Naima Perry in recurring roles. The action-adventure series centers on an exclusive Navy SEAL unit as they train for, plan, and risk their very lives to carry out perilous missions for the sake and honor of the U.S.A. Fierce and focused Jason Hayes (Boreanaz) leads the Tier One team. Despite the hardship it causes them and their families, this SEAL team is ready, willing, and able to embark upon secret missions at the drop of a hat. Team members include Jason’s trusted confidant, Ray Perry (Brown Jr.); loyal yet self-destructive Sonny Quinn (Buckley); and young Clay Spenser (Thieriot), a multilingual and second-generation SEAL. Others who are vital to the team’s success are troop commander Lt. Cdr. Eric Blackburn (Lormand); CIA analyst Mandy Ellis (Paré); and Ensign Lisa Davis (Trucks).
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/7 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context.

For comparisons: Season two of SEAL Team on CBS averaged a 0.76 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.027 million viewers.
Note: These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the SEAL Team TV series on CBS? Should it be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season?
*5/6/20 update: CBS has renewed the SEAL Team TV show for a fourth season.
There are very few shows that have action and good storylines. I feel like Seal Team without a doubt should go another season

Absolutely Love Seal Team. Yes We definitely Need and Want Season 4. Please Renew Seal Team. Love the Dynamic Personalities of Bravo Team!!! Yes to Season 4
Gotta be renewed. This is by far one of the best shows i’ve ever watched. If the likes of Bones n co can go on for so long, there is no reason this cant
It should be renewed. I enjoy the show and the characters. Sometimes it’s slow but it is still interesting.
Love Seal team. Especially since they are bringing veterans and especially the ones with PTSD and Traumatic Head Injuries. I think it should get more coverage and attention than the network is furnishing! That’s the problem with TV executives. They don’t live in the real world and this show especially indicates just how bad the situation with the veterans and the care ad respect they not only but don’t get. Keep it on. Show the world what veterans go through. Yes it is unsettling but this is real life and people need to face this and see that it really… Read more »
Seal team is the best show we have had in years. It is the ONLY one ever to tell the true stories about our military
We need this on tv to remind Americans our men and women or doing this service to save our way of life. Hopefully it well and does teach us every week what they give up for us.
Awesome show didnt miss a show
SEAL Team should be renewed. The 18-49 age group shouldn’t be used as the group that watches tv. It should be the 50+ age group. It’s the 60+ people who are watching tv, especially the people who are retired or disabled and stay at home and watch tv. I was also irritated that the first 15 minutes of SEAL Team was interrupted by Trumps speech and the reporters rehashing what he said. Instead of CBS showing the program from the beginning we missed the first 15 minutes. Looks forward every week for Seal Team to come on. Please CBS renew… Read more »
I agree with the ages I’m 71 and will never miss Seal Team. I’m of the Vietnam era and realize how important this is.
I served in the Marine Corps from 1977 – 1990. It needs to be kept on the air so people are reminded of what our service members do and that they do it for us. I like the show so much that I buy each season on DVD , record it on my Kindle and watch it when it’s on.
Love this show! Please don’t cancel will be a mistake!
