What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, Stumptown stars Cobie Smulders, Jake Johnson, Tantoo Cardinal, Cole Sibus, Adrian Martinez, Camryn Manheim, and Michael Ealy. In the TV show, Dex Parios (Smulders) is a strong, assertive and sharp-witted military veteran who lives in Portland, Oregon. She has a complicated love life, gambling debt, and a brother with Down syndrome, Ansel (Sibus), to care for. With only herself to rely on, she solves other people’s messes with a blind eye toward her own. Her military intelligence skills make Dex a great private investigator, but her unapologetic style puts her in the firing line of hardcore criminals and the police aren’t her biggest fans either. Other characters include Grey McConnell (Johnson), a bar owner and Dex’s friend; casino owner Sue Lynn Blackbird (Cardinal); Dex’s friend Tookie (Martinez), a taco food cart owner; and Lieutenant Cosgrove (Manheim) Detective Miles Hoffman (Ealy) of the Portland Police Bureau.

Will ABC cancel or renew Stumptown for season two? The traditional ratings aren’t very good but, given recent world events, I suspect that ABC may still renew Stumptown for a second season. Absolutely. Hook from day one. The plot, cast, music and even supporting cast used for various episodes.
The casting is especially done to a very believable characters. Even seeing repeat characters that fit intricately into following episodes. Great story line that changes and intertwines.
Would be greatly disappointed if cancelled. In all my years of viewing Television this show has impressed me the most.
Please bring back Stumptown
Finally a smart noir hard Boiled Detective story that is faithful to the conventions of the genre, while being respectively inventive. One of the most intriguing casts on tv: interesting and unusual characters who are convincingly portrayed by strong, skilled actors. This series accomplished a lot in it’s first season, and has many more stories to tell that will continue to entertain fans. Please give us a second season of this high quality show.
At first I wasn’t sure about StumpTown but I have come to look forward to each episode. Please give us season 2

I enjoy Stumptown very much–good characters, good subject matter, good stories. This show is just beginning to show what it can be–I urge ABC to give it another season!

The best new show on abc. Ratings are not great because it’s up against a tough Wednesday on the other networks with the Chicago series.
Stumptown is an original show dealing a lot with respect to PTSD. Things were needed to hear, understand and talk about. It also brings in local culture ie. American Indian values. Takes place in Portland Oregon aka Stumptown. Please give it more of a shot.
