Can Hondo return to business as usual in the fifth season of the SWAT TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like SWAT is cancelled or renewed for season six. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the fifth season episodes of SWAT here. *Status Update Below.
A CBS police action drama series, the SWAT TV show stars Shemar Moore, Alex Russell, Jay Harrington, Lina Esco, Kenny Johnson, David Lim, and Patrick St. Esprit. The crime thriller centers on Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson (Moore), a Los Angeles native and former Marine who’s been tapped to lead a new “last stop” Special Weapons And Tactics unit (S.W.A.T.). The rest of the team includes seasoned David “Deacon” Kay (Harrington), cocky newcomer Jim Street (Russell), canine trainer Christina “Chris” Alonso (Esco), expert driver Dominique Luca (Johnson), and informant-connected Victor Tan (Lim). Responsible for the management of all Metro Division S.W.A.T. units is Commander Robert Hicks (St. Esprit), a senior LAPD official with the Special Operations Bureau.

My wife and I both love this show. It would be a shame to cancel this show! Unfortunately, we don’t watch it during the actual airtime, but either via DVR or Paramount+.

This has been one of my favorite shows since it started. I loved it on FRIDAY nights most but I’ll watch it anytime and I have Paramount+ so I CAN watch it anytime. Everyone on the show is wonderful but Shemar Moore is outstanding. Keep it for at least another 10 seasons please!
This show has been on my favorite list since the 1st season. Please keep it running. It is one of the reasons I look forward to Sunday TV on CBS, also love the combination of characters. The creative writers/producers are awesome.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this show. Absolutely amazing show with amazing actors! I cannot wait for Season 6! I totally binge watched every season! I need to know if Hondo and Nichelle have a baby together, if Chris and Street become a couple, and I just love Deacon and his family, Victor and Luca…My favs are Hondo and Deacon… Please keep this show running! Great show! Why in the world move it from great slot on Friday to Sunday at 10. Not smart!!!
SWAT has worked hard to change its formula to reflect the Societal changes. This year, it purposefully added depth to each character to not only endear us to each team member but to teach life lessons. Without a doubt, more educational, character development, , and Societal lessons will be clearly evident in the near future in this thoughtful, well acted, scripted, acted, Action packed show. Stop changing the time. Even on the East Coast, the 10:00 time slot was 45 minutes late. Does not bode well for holding an audience. That is not a fsult of SWAT. This show deserves… Read more »
