What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, The Blacklist stars James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Klattenhoff, Amir Arison, Hisham Tawfiq, Laura Sohn, and Harry Lennix. The crime drama centers on one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives, Raymond “Red” Reddington (Spader), who offers to help the authorities if a specific rookie agent, Elizabeth Keen (Boone), partners with him. In season eight, with his back against the wall, Red faces his most formidable enemy yet — Elizabeth. Aligned with her mother, infamous Russian spy Katarina Rostova, Liz must decide how far she is willing to go to find out why Reddington has entered her life and what his endgame really is. The fallout between Red and Keen will have devastating consequences for all that lie in their wake, including the Task Force they helped to create.
Season Eight Ratings
The eighth season of The Blacklist averaged a 0.35 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.26 million viewers. Compared to season seven, that’s down by 36% in the demo and down by 23% in viewership. Find out how The Blacklist stacks up against other NBC TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will NBC cancel or renew The Blacklist for season nine? It’s seemed like The Blacklist might be in its final year for a while but the show keeps going. The ratings are low but the series gained some viewers last year. I suspect that the series will continue as long as Spader wants to keep making it and as long as Sony Pictures Television (which produces the series) can make a financial deal with NBC that suits both sides. Please renew the Blacklist. One of the best shows on TV
So happy it was renewed for a 9th season. I would be heartbroken if The Blacklist ends. James Spader as Reddington is one of the most amazing characters ever in TV history in my opinion and he plays it exquisitely. I can take or leave most TV series and I rarely post online, but this is one I watch every time! Please give us another 9 seasons!
My take is he is up there with Colombo, who else could do it. I can’t place any other actor playing this part.
Discovered Blacklist on Netflix. Raymond Reddington character played beautifully by Spader. Charming, loving…like no other! Really want to see him and Dembe with a wonderful, happy, fitting ending…but MANY seasons down the road!!

I watch little TV but I’m a fan of Black List from its first episode. But it does need refreshing new story line. The current one is becoming stale
Love blacklist keep it on
The plot and Reddington’s refusal to disclose the truth is getting frustratingly unrealistic in the light of the devastating consequences and frankly boring… almost at the point of me just abandoning the series to join the 18% who left. A great fan of James Spader from his earlier works but the writers and producers simply need to get more creative with the line the story is going instead of whipping a horse to death.

I’m obsessed with the show I have seen every one and binged watch them all again. The characters on this show are amazing and make the show appear so real,But,My loyalty lies with Red just like Demba ,Elizabeth don’t do it!
