How far will Thony go in the first season of The Cleaning Lady TV show on FOX? A FOX crime drama series, The Cleaning Lady TV show stars Elodie Yung, Oliver Hudson, Adan Canto, Martha Millan, and Valentino and Sebastien LaSalle. Shiva Negar, Jay Mohr, Liza Weil, and Eva De Dominici recur. In the story, Thony De La Rosa (Yung) is a whip-smart Cambodian doctor who comes to the U.S. for medical treatment to save her son, Luca (LaSalle), who’s been diagnosed with a life-threatening immunodeficiency disorder. When the system pushes her into hiding, Thony refuses to give up. After a run-in with a lieutenant of a powerful crime syndicate, Arman Morales (Canto), she becomes a cleaning lady for their operation. Crossing into a world of moral greys, Thony begins to live a double life, keeping secrets from her family, while cleaning crime scenes for Arman and dodging the law, including the smooth-talking FBI Agent Garrett Miller (Hudson) who is in pursuit.

My whole family is very devoted to this series…and I mean my extended family…mother, aunt and uncle, cousins…it’s very addictive, great acting, great twists and turns in the writing. We love to call each other every week to discuss the show and hope you’re smart enough to let it grow with a second season…the best shows are ones given the chance to develop a deep following, please Fox, give us a great second season…!!!!

Different and interesting- will continue to watch it’s progress
Well, there is every trope imaginable on this first episode: beautiful, educated immigrant mistreated because of her status; ill little boy who pulls at the heart strings; crime boss who finds himself attracted to this strong-willed cleaning lady, etc. Despite all of the cliches, I will watch it for at least another 2 to 3 episodes to see where this series is going.
