A legal drama anthology, The Fix stars Robin Tunney, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Scott Cohen, Adam Rayner, Merrin Dungey, Breckin Meyer, Marc Blucas, Mouzam Makkar, and Alex Saxon. The first season centers on former prosecutor Maya Travis (Tunney) who, in 2010, was unable to convict movie star Sevvy Johnson (Akinnuoye-Agbaje) in the double-homicide of his wife and her friend. After the trial, Maya fled LA, but now that Sevvy’s girlfriend has been killed, she’s lured back into action, for another shot at justice.
The first season of The Fix is averaging a 0.49 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.20 million viewers.
Out of the 21 scripted ABC TV shows of the 2018-19 season, The Fix is in 20th place in the demo and 15th place in total viewership.
While the first season is close-ended, the show’s creators have said that The Fix was not intended as a mini-series. Had the show been renewed, some of the characters would have returned to work on a new case.
The series finale of The Fix airs on May 20th.
What do you think? Do you enjoy the The Fix TV show? Would you have watched season two of this ABC comedy series?
Yes, my husband and I would watch a season two and three and so on. Very disappointed that ABC would cancel this show after only one season.
We are extremely disappointed at ABCs cancellation of this compelling show. It is well-acted and intense. There is a lot of poorly acted, and poorly scripted programs, but this is not one of them. Very sad.
Another Good show chopped by ABC. The twists and turns have kept people guessing how it will end. We need shows that challenge us, not just fill time. We will miss this show.
Yes I would have watched season 2. Why do they always do this? Get us hooked on a show and then yank it away!
Yes I would have watched season 2 , but like I always say when something is good , writers take it away !?!?
I really like the show and look forward to it every week. Maybe it should have been on a different night. Hope Marcia Clark will write another series.
I really liked this show and was excited to see Robin Tunney back on a series. Really disappointed it’s bring cancelled.
I really like this show. I’d like to see them end this case if there will be no future season for it. Disappointed!!!
The Fix cancelled? Noooooooo! The writing is top notch. Please, please “fix” this mistake!
Love it, I can’t understand the thinking of the cancellation of the good shows. I get upset with no clear endings.
Please renew or do not leave us hanging.Hate it when things are cancelled with not knowing the outcome
They better end this show and not leave us hanging. If they don’t end this with at least a verdict, I will never watch another ABC new show
I suspect we will be disappointed… They have two episodes left and don’t seem to be any closer to an indictment let alone a trial. They need a smoking gun to force a plea deal at this point but I don’t think the show is setup to end that way.
I’m glad this show was cancelled. Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain, the writing duo who teamed with Marcia Clark to create this, have a record of failures in TV pilots, series, and development in general. But they keep being given opportunities? Why? Because they are super-privileged white women who attended Ivy League colleges courtesy of Mommy and Daddy and made lots of connections with similarly-profiled people. I’m personally SICK of it. Those with extreme racial, socioeconomic, and educational privilege need to prove their worth like the rest of us. Clark, Craft, Fain — none of you have done **** to… Read more »
Can’t stand this show. Just another retread of the OJ Simpson case, completely intended to stroke Marcia Clarke’s ego.
As long as they wrap up the current case, no worries
