Tonight marks the seventh season finale of The Haves and the Have Nots TV show on OWN but, the series isn’t over yet. The cable channel has already set the start of the eighth season.
The Haves and the Have Nots stars John Schneider, Tika Sumpter, Angela Robinson, Renee Lawless, Crystal Fox, Peter Parros, Tyler Lepley, Gavin Houston, and Aaron O’Connell. The drama centers on the complicated dynamic between the Cryer, Harrington, and Young families of Savannah, Georgia. Season seven brings in even more havoc than ever before with revenge, heartbreak, betrayal, death, and destruction touching the lives of every character.
The seventh season of The Haves and the Have Nots averages a 0.25 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.33 million viewers. Compared to season six, that’s down by 19% in the demo and down by 18% in viewership.
There are 20 episodes in the seventh season but it’s unclear how many installments will be included in season eight. Here’s OWN’s brief announcement about the new season:

After years of behaving badly, the wealthy residents of Savannah, Georgia are involved in a true-to-life Greek tragedy. In season eight of Tyler Perry’s long-running hit drama, Judge Cryer (John Schneider) and his rich friends are all finding out what happens when personal flaws go unchecked. Karma has not been kind to the elite one-percenters. Will there be more? According to Houston, the cast started filming season nine of the drama back in May 2019. Is the end in sight or could the show keep going? Stay tuned.

LOVE LOVE this show! I agree, we need to see evil get it back! Veronica needs a lesson in being so evil. Kill off Wyatt please. Poor guy never had a good moment on the show. He’s a good actor too. Would love to see more of Jeremy & the male nurse (can’t remember his name!). I look forward to seeing this show more than any other out there. I will for sure be watching in Nov and so excited that it’s coming back so soon!!
This show with every episode is so good it will leave you wanting more. Catch Seasons 1 thru 7 episode 10 on Hulu. They just have to renew this show. It’s the best show ever!
I love the show the Haves and Have Nots. It’s my favorite! Once you start watching you can’t stop. You can see season 1 thru the middle of season 7 episode 10 on Hulu. I wish Hulu would pick up the new ones soon. There’s never a full moment on the show and each episode leaves you wanting more.
I have been watching the HAHN’S since day one. Truth be told I have loved it since day one ❤️. Seeing each character evolve snd and interact, I need my HAHN’S.
Thank you Tyler Perry for giving us and for continuing to give us the lives of these two families that engage with each other on a love to hate basis.

I love you Perry but this started out as a family show now it’s everything but… Veronica need to go she has shamed us women, and Wyatt time is up he need to be absent for a while like jail. Hahn need to learn how to be a family loving Christian not a dirty mouth Miss so righteous B. Mr.Perry let’s clean it up a little so I can enjoy with my family.
I LOVE Have and Have Nots but have not been able to watch it on Sling. Evidently OWN wants too much money to have this station on Sling. Could be your viewers that have watched for years are unable to thereby less viewership. Come on OWN, don’t you have plenty of money? Put OWN on Sling or continue to cheat your viewers and yourself. Greed. Just greed and I so miss this show.
I’ll be watching the 8th. Season of the HAHN and hoping for a 9th. Season too, so please keep it coming I ❤️ the show.

I’M SO CLOSE TO QUITTING. I’M SICK OF VERONICA , BENNY NEED A STORY LINE AND PLEASE GO AHEAD AND KILL WYATT, DANG HE GOT MORE LIVES THAN A CAT. DAVID AND THAT TRICK , JUST SORRY. I LOVE TYLER I REALLY DO AND WANT TO CONTINUE TO SUPPORT HIS WORK. HE’S MADE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE WITH HIS ANOINTED GIFT BUT THIS HAS GOTTEN OLDDDDDDDDD. I REALLY WISH YOU WOULD DO THE PLAY SO MANY OF US DIDN’T GET TO SEE. “I KNOW I’VE BEEN CHANGED”. HAHN WAS GOOD BUT IT HAS PLAYED IT’S COURSE.
I am so sick of Veronica and her evilness. You making it look like evil triumph over good and just don’t work that way. Veronica needs to be taught a lesson soon and very soon. She’s stereotyping black woman as evil. Wyatt needs to go to rehab in the jungle somewhere for a long time or he just need to go to actors hell, wherever that is
