After tonight’s episode, there will only be a handful of new episodes of The Office left. Some fans are hoping for a bit more of the sitcom and want NBC to “super-size” the series finale.
Executive producer Greg Daniels couldn’t agree more and writes:
Claire and Dave (our editors) have cut together just the first act and it’s 23 minutes long, so we’re definitely going to need some extra time to get everyone’s stories in.
It’s really great of the fans to come out like they did for Casino Night and help me request additional supersizing. You guys were able to melt Jeff Zucker’s heart, so I bet you can do the same for Bob Greenblatt.
It will be worth it, I promise.
If you agree and want to support the effort, head on over to OfficeTally for details.
What do you think? Should NBC make the series finale of The Office even bigger?
so the whole premise of this “ending” begins (4-4-13 episode) with the characters’ angst about being filmed every moment and breaking a quasi 4th wall with the audience? The story arc with a bohemian Andy trailed off into oblivion and the notion that this American experience is now being dished out as a series of webisodes is tiring. Who even cares about Jim and Pam? Have Roy come back and make this a tragicomedy. The British version was sooooooo much better…. The departure of Steve Carell was the beginning of the end.
Who cares about this show, I don’t.
