Is the third season of FOX’s The Resident TV show just what the doctor ordered? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether TV shows are cancelled or renewed. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the third season episodes of The Resident here. *Status update below.
A FOX medical drama, The Resident stars Matt Czuchry, Bruce Greenwood, Manish Dayal, Emily VanCamp, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Jane Leeves, and Morris Chestnut. The series follows a group of doctors at Chastain Memorial Hospital, as they face personal and professional challenges on a daily basis. Although its motto is, “Committed to excellence,” the hospital is staffed with human beings, and humans are flawed. In the third season, the doctors are surrounded by new rules and physicians, as Red Rock Mountain Medical takes over the hospital. The staff includes senior resident internist Conrad Hawkins (Czuchry), resident internist Devon Pravesh (Dayal), nurse practitioner Nicolette Nevin (VanCamp), surgical resident Mina Okafor (Wilson), cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. AJ Austin (Warner), orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Kit Voss (Leeves), neurosurgeon Dr. Barrett Cain (Chestnut), and CEO Dr. Randolph Bell (Greenwood).

There are a lot of good shows on all the stations this year so I have to record some of them. I love the resident! I try to watch that one on the night it’s on. Love the stories!
The Resident does a good job of showing us how the bottom line runs everything including peoples lives!

Great show. Our favorite in with The Good Dr. And Chicago Med. Love Conrad and Nic’s relationship. Really dislike the Logan Kim character. The actor comes off snarky and easy to dislike…I think it’s the actor…don’t know it just doesn’t seem to click… the way the takeover was done and those particular cast members. Love all the original cast.
Let someone more interesting come in and buy that group out. More intrigue needed. Again a great cast. Do something with them.❤️

I love this show and watch every week! The characters are ‘real’ and shows us actions of a large hospital. Dont cancel this show.

The Resident is the most under rated medical drama on TV. This is an amazing series. Grays Anatomy doesn’t hold a candle to this series.
