What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC drama, The Village stars Warren Christie, Michaela McManus, Lorraine Toussaint, Frankie Faison, Jerod Haynes, Dominic Chianese, Darren Kagasoff, Grace Van Dien, and Moran Atias. The story centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building. While it looks the same as countless others from the outside, what goes on inside is rare, to say the least. Everyone at the Village has a story to tell, be it about their hopes and dreams, or the challenges they’re facing. Together, they’re a family and family means everything — even when you are not related.

Will NBC cancel or renew The Village for season two? I think it could go either way. Right out of the gate, the ratings weren’t very good, especially for a series that followed NBC’s This Is Us drama. However, the ratings remained pretty consistent and saw some improvement when it was moved to an earlier timeslot. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Please keep The Village series running. I wanted to watch it when I saw the first trailers, but life got in the way and I didn’t start seeing it till a few episodes in. But I became hooked almost immediately. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens to all these characters as life proceeds. It’s a slice of life in many ways, and it comes closer to resembling reality than many of the so-called reality shows.
I my best friend and I absolutely LOVE The Village. Please renew the series! It is so fantastic!!! Each person’s life issues are so realistic and the music, oh, the music is just amazing!! Please keep the series. Thank you!! ❤

I honestly thought the Village was one of the most genuine, real, tv series I’ve seen in a long time. I felt so many “real life” emotions from that show! I felt like this was my own neighborhood! I loved the storylines because they are real life and there is always someone that can identify with what is happening. I was humbled by how that show made me feel everytime I watched it. I absolutely LOVE the Village! It is such a “feel good” Show! It’s about Neighbors coming together in Love, respect, & fondest for each other!! NO BLOOD, NO GORE, NO ROTTEN, FILTHY LAUGUAGE!! Something thst you rarely see on Television today!!! You feel like you’re part of the family, I cried, I laughed it’s a Show that I loik forward to seeing every week! I hope they RENEW THE VILLAGE, Give everyone a chance to forget about all their Troubles, if Only for an hour a Week!!!
