What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC drama, The Village stars Warren Christie, Michaela McManus, Lorraine Toussaint, Frankie Faison, Jerod Haynes, Dominic Chianese, Darren Kagasoff, Grace Van Dien, and Moran Atias. The story centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building. While it looks the same as countless others from the outside, what goes on inside is rare, to say the least. Everyone at the Village has a story to tell, be it about their hopes and dreams, or the challenges they’re facing. Together, they’re a family and family means everything — even when you are not related.

Will NBC cancel or renew The Village for season two? I think it could go either way. Right out of the gate, the ratings weren’t very good, especially for a series that followed NBC’s This Is Us drama. However, the ratings remained pretty consistent and saw some improvement when it was moved to an earlier timeslot. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. I really Hope it comes back . I love how it takes the place of This is us when the season is over. Gives us more things to watch that has a great story line & not like other shows out there. I like how it is SO REAL that I this day & age you can be a TRUE family without actually being BLOOD FAMILY!! You can choose your family & want to surround yourself with people who love you . I LOVE this show!!
PLEASE renew The Village. I’m not much of a TV watcher and this is the first show in a long time that I have followed. Its an excellent show that even my Fiance likes to watch with me.
