How are you dealing with the end of Timeless? Creator Eric Kripke, stars Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, and more have reacted to NBC’s decision to cancel the TV show.
As reported earlier, the network has cancelled the time travel drama after two seasons. The series follows the unexpected team of a history professor (Abigail Spencer), a soldier (Matt Lanter), and a scientist (Malcolm Barrett) as they embark on the adventure of a lifetime to stop a mysterious villain. The cast also includes Goran Visnjic, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit.
On Twitter, Kripke, Spencer, Lanter, and more posted their thoughts on NBC‘s cancellation of Timeless:

This really sucks. My favorite show Timeless cancelled. I hate you NBC. You cancel this fantastic show and keep stupid crap like Superstore. How can you justify that?
Hate to see it go… finale set up so many possibilities
I am so tired of the crappy shows on tv. When a show is so very interesting, and “timeless” as Timeless is, we deserve better than the networks give us. Timeless is a history teaching and inclusive bright light in the entertainment world.
Very disappointed timeless was canceled , really loved the show hope NBC is serious about the 2 hour movie it’s the least they could do for for canceling a really great show
This is just horrible news. This shoe was inclusive of everyone. It was more than a history lesson, it was a chance to remember where we came from and hopeful not repeat so many of the mistakes that were made in the past.
I am tired of watching shows that get canceled with no endings! Timeless was THE best show on network tv. If it had been put in a better timeslot ,it would not have been cancelled.
Heart-broken!! This was the only show I’ve ever loved this much! So different from anything else on TV. I’m hoping another network will recognize the quality all of the fans already see.

So sad to hear about the cancellation. Hopefully, the movie will come about. There definitely needs to be a closure. Maybe Netflix will pick it up. We can only hope and pray!! It did have the best season finale, that should mean something!
This just shows how stupid and out of touch these big networks like NBC are. They keep shows that are garbage and cancel a show that is great. Makes no sense what so ever. Hey Amazon, and Netflix Please pickup Timeless and have an instant fan favorite!
Hopeful for a movie, but not counting on it. Not sure why all the good shows go down, I’m done with all th networks, they are consistent on one thing…..canceling shows.

What about Netflix?
If all else fails, they should start a gofundme or kickstarter. I’m sure that most of the fans would be more than willing to help fund the movie (as a direct-to-video or streaming only, if necessary) if NBC or whoever else is not willing to fund it.
