What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC action adventure drama, Timeless stars Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Višnjić, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit. Season two picks up right after the events of last season and follows Rufus (Barrett), Wyatt (Lanter), and Lucy (Spencer) on their quest to prevent the destruction of our world as we know it. This season they’ll find an unlikely ally in their mission to destroy Rittenhouse, a deadly organization Lucy’s family has been a part of, for centuries. As they try not to change the past, they will visit 1692, 1917, 1941, 1981 and more, and encounter Marie Curie, Hedy Lamarr, William Randolph Hearst, and other influential historical figures.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Timeless averaged a 0.61 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.64 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 45% and 43%, respectively. Find out how Timeless stacks up against other NBC TV shows.
Timeless has been cancelled. There will be no season three, but NBC has ordered a two-part Timeless finale movie which will air December 20, 2018. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Will NBC cancel or renew Timeless for season three? It’s in a tougher timeslot and the ratings have really suffered. I suspect that Timeless will be cancelled and won’t return for a third season unless there’s some reason that makes this show very cheap to produce. Season two benefited from tax incentives but I don’t think season three would have the same break. For now, I’ll update this page with breaking developments. I love Timeless! I’m hoping this show is renewed more than any other, especially after the finale. Absolute favorite show and family friendly (although it would be better at an earlier time). I love the actors and every story.
Well I for one love sci-fi and add to that time travel its the perfect show. I want more. I hope their decision isn’t based solely on Neilson Ratings which one family can represent 1% of all families and 1/2% of all viewers and could be easily manipulated. If it renews hurray if it doesn’t i hope they take a page from the show Farscape and make a movies to close all the threads

NBC will probably cancelled the show they cancel every show that is good, for some dumb reality show or a comedy. They can control what nasty thing they can say about our PRESIDENT..
Being a History Buff, love the show and the cast is awesome. NBC do the right thing: Renew for season 3, don’t leave us hanging!!

Please, please renew Timeless! This is one show my sons and I look forward to watching every week. They love learning about history, and this “brings it to life” for them, and me! It’s an amazing series and different from other shows on now!

Please, please renew Timeless. I have so enjoyed this show and it’s something my son can watch. I’ve revisited history or learned some new things with my son. I really enjoy it and I am 51 and hip so you are reaching those over 49. I am not general a sci-fi kind of girl yet this one struck me. I think oprepeopleknew what it was about no ref may have watched it.
