What were you watching last night? Original network programming, reruns, cable, or something else?
We love the Special Forces show & the 3 part Chicago show was excellent!
shifting gears is one of the big hits on ABC? in the demo shifting gears in just episode 3 of it’s entire existence is now getting the same demo numbers as the conners in season 6 (they were .35-.40) until they shifted to 930. makes no sense why abc wouldn’t want conners around a little longer. IMO
Conners was probably getting too expensive. The older a show gets, the more you need to pay all the actors. Most actors renegotiate their contracts after season 6 for big pay increases. With declining ratings for the Conners, ABC probably didn’t think it was worth the money.
For Shifting Gears, there really only two people who are making higher pay rather than the whole cast of the Conners….
