Is Whiskey Cavalier coming back? Deadline reports ABC is considering reviving the cancelled TV show for a second season.
The drama series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Scott Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Lauren Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world. The cast also includes Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins.
Even though ABC announced Whiskey Cavalier‘s cancellation earlier this month, the network is reportedly reconsidering their decision after fans launched a campaign to save the show and the season one finale earned strong ratings.
Overall, season one of Whiskey Cavalier averaged a .57 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.347 million viewers. While the finale increased ratings by nearly 60%, that still leaves the freshman drama in the bottom 10 for ABC’s 2019-20 season.
Nevertheless, ABC is exploring bringing Whiskey Cavalier back for another season. As of reporting, no decisions have been made.

Bring Back Whiskey Cavalier – it is so funny and good – I love the action mized with the humor – it was quickly becoming a fave of mine this season and I want more 🙂
I think it’s an enormous mistake to cancel Whiskey Cavalier, it’s fresh not too much drama, fun good plots with humor, our country needs more of these type of action comedy there’s so much stress going on . Bring back Whiskey Cavalier!Sharisse Calderone
Please! Please! Please! Don’t cancel my favorite show Whiskey Cavalier! It was funny, exciting and the characters had such great chemistry and comrodery!!! The season finale left me in hives! What is going to happen to Standish!? Please reconsider and give this show a second chance!

Fantastic show. Adding comedy in to the mix of an action show is brilliant. It would be a travesty if the network cancelled this show. The networks need to allow shows to create traction and grow before pulling the plug, or at least have the courtesy of series closure in the last episode.
Needs renewed. I can think of several other shows that should be cancelled ahead of this one.

Whiskey Cavalier is such a fun show. Please bring it back. Been so upset since I saw it was cancelled. Networks always seem to cancel the one new show I like, after just one season. Wakes me weary to start new shows in fear of liking them and then to get disappointed by another cancellation.
