SundanceTV is sticking with The A Word. This weekend, the network announced they’ve picked up a second season of the series, Variety reports.
The drama follows a family with a young son who is diagnosed with autism. The cast includes Max Vento, Lee Ingleby, Morven Christie, Vinette Robinson, Greg McHugh, and Chris Eccleston. Season one just premiered earlier this month.
A premiere date for season two has not yet been announced.
What do you think? Have you seen The A Word? Are you glad it’s been renewed?
Love the show. Can’t wait for it to come back
Love the show. Can’t wait for it to come back.
Please bring it back on as soon as
possible, it’s a fabulous series. Let me know time and date it’s on if possible. Thanks for renewing this wonderfully touching and moving television show.
I have a daughter on the Spectrum- this show was the realest thing I’ve seen yet about the myriad of feelings and reactions that arise when there is a diagnosis. I related so much to the very human characters.. Glad it’s renewed!!!
We love this show ! We only watched up to season 1 episode 5, now it is gone? We have searched shows on our cable and it is gone! Help, we live in U.S. in Michigan. Comcast is our provider.
Kim, A half hour ago I just watched episode 6 on Amazon Prime, you don’t want to miss this final episode in Season 1. I’m now trying to find out when Season 2 starts. My best friend Pat in London (who started me on this series) tells me that they are on last episode of Season 2 there so hopefully we will be abe to watch this fantastic show sometime early next year. Hope you can get Amazon Prime.
Just seen episode 3 of the first series here in Canada. What a great show and wonderful actors. Could you tell me where in the Lake District it is filmed. Thank you
Love this show!
Absolutely THRILLED that a second season is being done. This show is AMAZING-REFRESHING-BEAUTIFUL.
Excellent! The show keeps it real. Hopefully the second season will start soon. Thank you for sharing a glimpse into the spectrum of life!
